"We had a wonderful five-night stay this August. The house was lovely and clean. The kitchen had what we needed (e.g. appliances, pots, cutting boards, containers for leftovers). The game room was great--we did not use it as much as I thought we might but that was because the weather was so good we spent most of our time at the lake!If you are thinking of staying here, a few things it is useful to know:1. "This was our third summer visiting Private Point Lake Chalet and we hope for many more to come. The quiet lake with beachfront is perfect for our annual friend weekend with kids. The cabin has everything we need with attentive hosts. See you next summer!"

"Great location and decor in the cottage. Very quiet and relaxing surroundings. The water was great and the hot tub was wonderful at the end of each day. Allowed to bring our dogs as well. The kitchen had the latest in digital and wi-fi enabled appliances."

"It was so welcoming, the stay was super calming and comfortable with the nature surrounding us! The only thing we didn’t like was the bathtub on the listing said functional in the summer, but other than that it was the best vacation a couple could ask for!"

"Rustic cabin, which is perfect when you are travellibg with two Corgi's. We had a wonderful time and even enjoyed our rainy day where we could look out over the lake and watch the rain roll in. This cabin had lots of fun stuff to do. Games, books kayaks, you name it. Such a great time and lots of memories made. Thanks so much!!"

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin on Balsam Lake! The downstairs area was perfect for the kids and we had plenty to do between fishing and the kayaks. We braved the seaweed in the middle of the lake for a short swim but were happiest on top of the water. "

"We had so much fun staying at this cabin. There was plenty of things to do right there but also a lot of things within short driving distance. We loved being able to bring our dogs who had so much fun as well. It was such a peaceful getaway but still had access to WiFi and air conditioning. We enjoyed kayaking, campfires, smores, fishing and swimming. My only complaint is that the vacation wasn’t long enough! Would definetly love to stay here again! "
