"A lovely stay right on the Great Yarmouth sea front. The hotel is decorated to a high standard with quality materials, and the breakfast was excellent, with staff being friendly and attentive. "So it would have been easilllyyyyy 5 stars but we almost didnt even stay. So we had a booking and decided we would turn up for lunch around 1. We knew we couldnt check in until 3ish ( not a problem ) So we asked the reception we were early and would like some food. She was so rude and unoccomadating to us I said I would go elsewhere as did not feel welcomed at all. Yes it was a bit busy but it wasnt packed. And they should be able to accomadate all guests. Anyway glad we stayed as everyone else...

"The hotel was ok considering its age our room was extremely noisy had no sleep for the two night's we stayed due to a busy road and the windows rattled so loudly the second night as there was a high wind we had to fill it with cardboard and tissue paper to try and dtop the rattle On the plus side the staff are lovely and the food great. The staff were mostly great - especially in Branfords where the female staff in particular were hardworking, super-friendly and cheerful and in the gym/spa where they were all pleasant and helpful.
