"We loved staying at this historical home away from home. The house is full of nice touches and antique furniture, large rooms and beautifully staged. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the rural get away from it all location, yet is just 90 minutes from Lexington. Gwen was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Very much a caring host. "

"The cute little blue cottage was perfect for our stay in Harrodsburg. Easy walk to the historic downtown. The cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. Good location for our tours to some bourbon distilleries and Shakertown Village. We would love to stay again if we get back to Harrodsburg area. Thank you!"

"Our stay was perfect for our needs. We were visiting family in the area so we didn't spend a lot of time outside of mornings and nights at the house but it was great for the needs of our extended family. There were 5 total bedrooms so 10 of us slept very comfortably during the stay. The location was also amazing as it was very close to the family we were visiting. Property owners communicated great and we have no complaints."

"As we turned into the neighborhood, we knew we would enjoy our stay. Every property in the neighborhood was spacious with beautifully manicured lawns. The exterior of this rental was pleasing to the eye. The driveway was down-sloped with plenty of room for our oversized rental suv to pull into. We retrieved the key and opened one of the three garage doors. We were grateful that the suv fit into the bay with plenty of room for the back hatch to fully open and keep us out of the rain. "The hosts were extremely helpful, patient and flexible with our need for truck & trailer parking for our trip--5 stars for that! The 'barn' was excellent with lots of information about how to use the amenities in it. The location was great! Definitely recommend this space and these hosts!!"

"I came in for an evening with my dog for a family members wedding. Mike was very friendly and responsive at my time. It’s a very beautiful piece of property. Additionally the rental area has everything you would need. You can tell that the effort is put in to be as helpful and accommodating for the stay. I would come again and appreciate the hospitality!"

"This property is just as it is described. Bill and Heather have thought about everything and anything you would need while here. It was nice to not have pack every single thing. They provided handsoap, towels, and bags to pickup after out dogs. They had recommendations any time we asked for them. Their responses back were quick and knowledgeable. The property is fully fenced in now (after asking if they could get it done before we visited and they followed through with it and it was done well!)....

"Incredible accommodations! They thought of everything you might need and more! We spent 5 days and 4 nights here and had an amazing time. This place is awesome from the hobbit holes built into the countryside, the huge hot tub, sauna, fire pit with swings, charcoal grill, rocking chairs on the porch, garden, fresh eggs from the resident chickens, board games and outdoor movie theatre, this place had it all and then some! "Great house with plenty of space for our group. We loved being greeted by the cows across the road when we would return from our daily outings. House is quite aways from town so be prepared to drive. But that would not deter us from renting it again when in the area."
