"The two-night stay was great, in a calm and quiet place, even though it was close to the Alaska Railway. The room was tidy and functional, the service was excellent, and the owner was a wonderful person. The location was very close to Exit Glacier, one of Seward's land attractions. "My family of four had a pleasant stay here. The property was exactly as my son had requested - a woodsy lodge near a lake. Our room was tight but it was clean and we had enough soap, towels, etc. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. We had to wait a bit to be served, but we were told that as we were seated. If a restaurant is busy, then I assume that it's because the food and service are good, which is was. "Excellent stay. We had three people and I had booked a room with two double beds which I thought were larger than queen. When the night clerk noted that we had three people he gave us a free upgrade to two queen beds. Such a polite staff, clean, great breakfast. Highly recommended. "

"an interesting stay, a very fancy house turned into an airbnb. we arrived late at night so we quietly slipped off our shoes in the foyer(as requested) and went to our v large rooms. used the lovely huge kitchen in the morning to cook n take our meals n left. saw not a single other soul though we knew other ppl were there. It was competitive priced and well appointed. good one plus that wonderful wooden bench at the entrance and the gleaming stone of the kitchen countertop. there is old money...
