Had a Great Time

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. Nice change was a new main refrigerator. There were a couple of bathroom sinks that never drained properly and some of the furniture could use an update, but we had a great time at the house and of course the amazing view and close access directly to the beach.

Incredible location

The beach access and set up was great! The house was nice and had plenty of room for the three families who vacationed with us. The only issues were with the ice maker in the kitchen fridge and the oven. Neither were working when we got there and we had to adapt our meal plans. Overall, the house was great and the property managers were very responsive.

Family 50th bday celebration at the beach

What a great home, location, amenities! Our group of 13 had a wonderful 4 day celebration, cooking in the state of the art kitchen, playing on the beach, and enjoying this lovely home. Thank you!

Nice home just a bit dated

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, well equipped kitchen and good location. The biggest downside was how dated it is. The furniture is very old, worn and dingy, especially in the main sitting area. Also if you like soft fluffy towels and more than one big your own. Towels were below average. Other than that it was a nice property.

Memories

So family oriented, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Appreciate the HOA rules, it keeps the community beautiful. Our house was beautiful, needed a few little things done but everyone had fun with new memories everyday.

Amazing

We absolutely loved this house. It was well stocked and the layout of the house worked for everyone in our family. The property management group was very easy to work with. We always stay in Destiny by the Sea but in a different house each time. My family is asking to stay in this house again!

Anniversary Paradise

Our family had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home in Destin as we celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. The home was very convenient to the beach and community pool and was well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely love to come back again!!

Nice home in a cool location. Neighborhood has way too many rules though.

House was very nice and spacious. Right next to the beach but the neighborhood has way too many strict rules. Someone on a golf cart drove up and asked us what house we were staying in and acted like we didn’t belong there. Felt like we were always being watched by the HOA.

Perfect Location

Nice property just 200yds from the beach access. Great little gated community. The beach was awesome and not overcrowded. The provided beach chairs and equipment was a plus as we did not have to rent chairs. We did check in in between trash days and the trash was full from previous guests. There was an ash tray full of cigarette butts on the balcony but no smoke smell in the home. The home overall worked out great for my family. I would book here again!

Amazing location

This was an amazing house in an ideal location, with a very accurate property listing. You could tell that it was towards the end of a long summer season for the property as there were quite a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The main refrigerator, a nice Sub-zero, needs serious maintenance as it had a wall of frost on the back wall of the refrigerator side, it never cooled properly all week. We ended up with multiple foods going bad. Property management was prompt in their responses, but saying to use a small refrigerator in the garage wasn’t a good option. By far the largest frustration with the house all week. Some other minor issues like a bar ice maker quitting, master bath sink staying clogged up, and overall lack of deep cleaning. We had 13 people of all ages and had an amazing time at the house, beach across the street and close proximity to just about any activity.

Summer 23

Our stay was wonderful. We had two issues one with the elevator which was taken care of quickly and the other which was the refrigerator. The refrigerator was looked at before we arrived and during our stay it froze several food items on certain shelves. Other than that this house and management were perfect.

Playa Del Mar for a Great Stay

Great layout for three levels. Recent updates make for a comfortable, relaxing place for a large family. Multiple balcony areas are useful mornings and evenings. Bedrooms are large with one multi room and one bunk room for the kids. Nice family room with a pool table. Great bar in the family room with an ice machine and wine fridge. Several places to refrigerate drinks in fact. Kitchen fridge is dated and struggled to keep cold on the refrigerator side. Freezer worked well. Acs are fairly new and worked very well. Parking only for three, wished it was a four spot place. Two on the garage and one in the driveway. Excellent neighborhood and beach service. One minor maintenance issue came up and the service person was prompt and professional and quickly solved the problem. Would definitely rent this one again.

Perfect relaxation spot for our family

Absolutely loved the neighborhood! The gate attendant was so friendly upon our arrival. It felt safe, quiet and a 5 minute drive to any stores. Access to the private beach was right across the street & we loved that it was not crowded 😊 The house was perfect for our family of 14. Spacious, relaxing & had all of the amenities we needed. We didn't have neighbors on either side or across from us so that made it absolutely wonderful for us when we relaxed on the balconies at night. We enjoyed hearing the waves crashing & feeling the breeze. The lay out of the home also allowed for privacy if you needed it. Small issues like dirty, sour smelly sheets on one of the 3rd floor twin bunks (we washed them immediately) and debris & crumbs on one the sofa pull-outs on the 1st floor, confusion with the multiple TV remotes and finding the NBA play off games with the cable provider used didn't prevent us from having a wonderful time. Also, someone came by to pick up the trash as soon as we got there and told us he would come back the next day with more garbage bags but he never did. We ended up buying our own and using small grocery bags for trash. It's a great beach house and we're already making plans to rent again. Playa Del Mar was a hit! This home is exactly what you see online.

Great Getaway!

Overall, we were grateful for such an amazing location, private beach entry. We were never crowded at the beach which was amazing. The home worked for all of us. There was a maintenance issue while we were there, but they handled it right away. We would stay again.
