"The man that ran the place was very kind and straight to the point heaps of utilities in the kitchen so you wouldn’t have to bring a whole pan or potato masher, the kitchen and toilet are shared but it was still great. The heater was warm and me and my friends had a great time "

"Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. "We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. "

"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property "
