This property was great! Jesse responded to all inquiries right away. This was the perfect place for us to spend an evening and attend a concert in town. Very close to some great restaurants and the concert venue. We hope to return when we can be in town longer to explore more of Des Moines!

Studio With Style

Easy, peaceful, calm. Three things I require in a VRBO and this cute studio had all 3 in abundance. An easy check-in process. Simple straight forward directions for getting in and getting settled. Pictures and description is accurate. The river walk was 5 minutes away and so pretty. The pedestrian bridge brought me right across from the Iowa Events Center. The Capitol building and Botanical gardens are both within walking distance. My nights were peaceful and cool with little noise and air conditioning. The kitchen was fully stocked, and everything was clean. I made great use of the nearby restaurants from coffee and muffins in the morning to Zombie burgers at night. Oh don't forget dessert. The ice cream place was a delight. So many choices all nearby, but none of the bustle poured over to the studio area. My favorite part was the calm I experienced every morning sipping coffee outside on the patio. Definitely would stay here again.

Des Moines Iowa trip

We stayed here for the accessable to the Red Bull Soapbox race. Very happy with the parking across from the unit. Loved the outdoor sitting area. We were treated to fireworks on Friday night with a perfect view from the patio. Lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Unit had everything you need and was spotless! Jesse was a great host and the restaurant suggestions were spot on. We would stay again if in the area.

Capital comfort

Loved the hip, loft-like vibe and location of the unit. Great access to everything and perfect spot to chill and watch the sunset. Perfect for a few days to explore DSM on foot or bike.

Great experience!

I stayed at this cozy loft for 5 weeks and loved it! The charming, funky decor caught my attention first. But Jesse’s great communication and willingness to work with me on a long-term rental sealed the deal. The loft is well-furnished with kitchen supplies, linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies; and the washer/dryer was a huge bonus. There was plenty of space for 1-2 people (and a small dog). The large TV and availability of streaming services made movies and sporting events easy to access. I especially loved the location: close to the East Village with all its variety of food and shopping, super easy access to I235 for movement around metro Des Moines, and the huge added bonus of free parking just outside the door. Though close to downtown Des Moines, I felt completely safe walking my dog around the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this loft, and would work with Jesse on any of his rentals in the future!

Super cute-would stay again

Not only does it give art gallery with the gallery wall (the online pictures are very accurate) but it has so much greenery which is what sold me! Very nice, walkable to East Village shops and restaurants. The host Jesse was so responsive to my questions and even helped out with spa recommendations. Would stay again!
