Four unique bedrooms - two on the lower level and two upstairs - provide extra privacy and help minimize noise.

Bright, welcoming, and comfortably furnished, the living area features an open-concept layout with a large sectional, stylish decor, and Smart TV.

Kitchen & Dining:
Enjoy a spacious dining area with a formal dining table, coffee bar, and plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen offers a stove, built-in microwave, large refrigerator, and dishwasher.

Pet Policy
Dogs are welcome! Please include your pet when booking by selecting the number of pets in the search filter. The pet fee will be applied automatically. If a pet is brought without being registered, the fee will be doubled.

SECURITY: There is a security camera located outside the front door facing outside that records audio and video 24/7 for guests safety. If the device is tampered with the reservation may be cancelled with no refund.

By booking, you agree to all of the house rules listed below:

1. Smoking and drug use are not allowed inside the home. This includes vapes, weed, or other illegal substances. There is a $1000 fine if discovered.

2. Unruly Parties are not allowed in this property, including loud music. There is a fee of $1000 if more guests than stated are brought to the property or because of excessive noise after the first warning/ neighbor complaints. Quiet Hours: 10:00pm - 8am.

3. There is a $50 fee per guest per night for undeclared guests.

4. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee.

5. A lost, missing, or damaged key or fob (if property uses keys/fobs) has a replacement cost of $75 each

6. Check-Out Policy - Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out is not guaranteed and may only be available if there are no same-day bookings or scheduling conflicts with our cleaning team. If you'd like to request a late check-out, please inquire the day before departure. Requests made earlier will not receive a confirmed answer until that time. A fee may apply for a late check-out.

7. Check-In Policy - Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. Early check-in is not guaranteed and depends on same-day turnover and cleaning schedules. If you'd like to request early check-in, please reach out on the day of arrival. We are unable to confirm early check-in prior to that day. A fee may apply for early check-in.

8. Everything in the home is inventoried. We will charge for any missing or damaged items.

9. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.

10. We do not allow packages/mail to be sent to the address youā€™re staying at. You may deliver to a local FedEx/UPS. We cannot help you to retrieve delivered mail.

11. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.

12. There is 1 security camera pointing at the door entrance. Blocking or disconnecting this device will lead to immediate termination of your stay with no refund.

Lovely Beaverdale Stay

Our family had a very nice time at this property! We were able to spend quality time together with one another and friends. The house was clean and well maintained. We had an odd issue that was out of the control of the owner. But he responded quickly and offered possible alternatives to help us. We would highly recommend!!

We loved this property. The only issues we had were the beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked. The king-size bed mattress was wrapped in some kind of plastic or other material that made it very hot for my husband. It was just very uncomfortable and too hard for our taste. We found the one in the back bedroom the most tolerable. The other issue was there were a lot of flies and little nit like flies in the house. It seemed like they came out of nowhere no matter how many we were able to kill. Otherwise, great location, property and management.

Disappointing Stay with Serious Issues**

While this property has a lot of potential due to its beautiful design and location, our stay was marred by multiple significant issues that cannot be overlooked. 1. **Safety Concerns**: The back door knob was broken, making it impossible to open, which posed a serious fire hazard. It also meant we couldn't access the barbecue grill, which was disappointing. 2. **Severe Kitchen Issues**: The kitchen sink was leaking, and itā€™s clear this is not a new problem. The area around it was rotted, and towels were stuffed under the sink to absorb the water. This created a terrible odor and was a breeding ground for flies. The smell was unbearable at times. 3. **Fly Infestation**: The fly problem throughout the house was disgusting. We had to purchase fly traps just to manage it, which is not something you should have to deal with while on vacation. 4. **Filthy Living Room Furniture**: The living room couch was in terrible condition. It looked dirty and smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke, which made it uncomfortable to relax in the space. 5. **Persistent Odor**: The entire house had a horrible smell that worsened after a few hours of being in the space. While there were numerous deodorizers placed around the home, they only masked the smell temporarily. By the next day, the odor was unbearable again. 6. **Overall Cleanliness**: While the house is beautiful, it was shockingly dirty. The rugs, baseboards, and corners were g

This house truly is charming. There is so much space yet theyā€™ve made it feel so cozy and comforting. Every room is large, beautifully decorated, and clean. Excellent property!

We were in town for a dog show at the state fairgrounds. It was a beautiful home! Well-maintained, clean, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. Plenty of space for a group with two bedrooms and a half bath upstairs and everything else on the main floor. There's a grocery store in walking distance. Host was very responsive and provided all the information we needed for a smooth check in. This is definitely a property on my "visit again" list!

Spacious House in a Quiet Area

My family and I stayed here for a family gathering in Des Moines and it was one of the better rental experiences I have had. The house is clean and laid out well, the beds are comfortable with extra pillows, and the neighborhood is really quiet and walkable. There is a grocery store right around the corner so that was convenient as well. The host was very helpful and very accessible, when we needed to see about adding some dates he worked with us and it all went smoothly. Highly recommend this house if you are staying in or around Des Moines.

Weā€™re on our way to see family in Illinois and stopped in Des Moines for 2 days. Had fun antiquing and enjoyed this house. Very comfortable, great kitchen and awesome coffee bar. Cozy home!!

Lovely community setting close to downtown and grocery store only a 2 min walk away. Loved the house and our stay was very comfortable. The property manager was very accessible with basic household questions. Highly recommend this property. I would definitely rebook.
