Fishing trip
We took our grandson on a fishing trip for his 10th Birthday. We all had so much fun. He enjoyed being so close to the river so we kept going down to fish. It was very quiet and relaxed weekend. We can't wait to do it again.

Great place
Everything was great. The place was easy to find, (be advised the gps brought us to the adjacent street.) The cabin was clean, looked great, the grill & fire pit were our best friends. We loved the place so much we ate dinner outside everyday by the fire & relaxed till the stars were all over. Did some hiking & exploring and found a drive through preserve where we got to feed animals, my lady loved it. The cabin seems popular for fly fishing which we did not try. We intend to come back & try our hand at that. Thank you! Great place!

Always great.
Andrew has a fantastic setup right on the banks of the west branch of the Delaware. It’s 100 yards to the private launch area. This cabin has everything you will need to be comfortable and it’s very clean. Thanks again for a fantastic stay Andy, see you in the Spring. Allen Cold Spring, NY.

Cabins were on the river at the end of a dead end street. Cabins were clean, comfortable and had a modern well appointed kitchen. We were there on a fishing weekend and the accommodations were more than expected. We’ll done.

Awesome Location
Truly perfect location. Stayed 10 days, half the time in Cabin 1 and half in Cabin 2. Cabin 1 has the full-sized bed and a newer kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Cabin 2 has bunk bed that I did not enjoy, but otherwise is comparable to Cabin 1. Overall, a good value.

It was just what we were hoping for! We enjoyed riverside seating, watched the stars & the mist rising off the water. Spent an afternoon fishing with a guide who lives down the street! The Cabin was perfect, just "Rustic" enough but with ALL the comforts & amenities.

Quiet…peaceful….tranquil - 3 words that describe this cabin and its location. Just a short 3 minute drive into the small town of Deposit offered a grocery store, bank, great pizza place, and a great new cool restaurant. We will look to book again!

An excellent place to stay in Deposit.
This cabin is an excellent place to stay when visiting the headwaters of the Delaware river system. It’s evident that Andy has put thought and care into providing the perfect amount of creature comforts from home without forgoing the rustic environment we all crave. The kitchen is well stocked with more than what one would consider the essentials. I love to cook, so that is important to me. The whole cabin was clean clean, and there were plenty of towels. Fishing aside, our favorite thing was sitting on the porch with our coffee and watching the morning fog roll over the river. Thanks again for having us, we will certainly return!

The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. About a two minute walk to the river. As far the cabin, it was everything that was described by the owner and would recommend it anyone. Thank you Mr. Stone!

Cute cabin in a perfect location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything we needed to know was clearly communicated to us prior to our arrival. Upon our arrival we were immediately thrilled with the location and the proximity to a beautiful stretch of the river. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The river front area is exceptionally stunning. The front porch was a great spot to sit and relax, as was the fire pit and picnic table area. There’s even a bald eagle nest right down the road, yet the proximity to town is extremely convenient. It was truly the perfect location. We hope to be back again soon.

Nice cozy cabin on the Upper West Branch Delaware
Recently stayed for 3 nights at this cabin. Cabin is small and cozy. Window AC is available in the bedroom. Fire pit is available with plenty of fire wood. Grill is also available, with plenty of grill utensils, but need to bring your own charcoal. Decent speed for the WiFi. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen also. Direct fishing access is a short walk (less than 5 minutes), Stilesville public access is also within walking distance (10-15 minute walk). Managed to catch three 15-16-incher brown trout at the pool in front of the cabin (released immediately of course!). Overall an enjoyable stay.

Best cabin weekend ever.
It was the best cabin weekend we had. Cabin has everything and anything you would need or want. The only thing, and it's probably out of owner's control, is that you can't go for a swim in the river. Scenery is beautiful, and it is quiet. As I said, best cabin getaway we had. Ever.

the property and cabin was awesome. Everything you need is there. This was mainly a fishing trip, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted. I'm hoping to go back with my girlfriend to enjoy this summer

we loved this cabin! I took my boyfriend here for his birthday to go ice fishing. you are able to ice fish on arctic lake, and we caught a brook trout right in front of the cabin on the Delaware river! The river is across the street from the cabin, it’s about a minute and a half walk and andy has chairs and a little fire pit down there as well! He has updated the cabin a bit, there’s more shelving in the kitchen as well as a new stove, microwave, refrigerator and big TV. There is also a good size couch to the left of the kitchen, making it really homey to cook and hangout at the same time! He also has a toaster and everything you need dish, pan wise! The bathroom was a perfect size and he even had new toothbrush’s and toothpaste out for us! it’s the little things. The couch in the living room also turned into a bed so you can watch tv as you fall asleep. or sleep in the bedroom in the bunk bed! the bunk bed was a full size mattress and so comfortable, it fit us both! (i’m 5’9 and he’s 6’3). There’s also a grocery store and cute little cafes just 5 mins away. All around one of our favorite trips

Cabin was very user friendly with ALL sorts of things available one might easily forget. Fully stocked kitchen, Baseboard heat was very efficient. Easy access to some great river access. Fish were biting. Thanks Andy, for all the improvements over the previous ownership.

Great cabin for a fishing trip!
From the time of booking, Andy was more than accommodating even allowing me to call him to discuss my trip. 4 adults stayed in the cabin, and while it was tight it was still very comfortable. The cabin would be perfect for a small family, and we were impressed at how clean it was! The property is beautiful, with friendly neighbors and river access. We enjoyed fishing the river until dark, then starting a fire and sitting by it. Can’t wait to come back!

Great weekend retreat.
My wife and I had a wonderful weekend stay here. The cabin is cute, clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything one would need, and there were nice little touches, like some condiments in the kitchen and new toothbrushes and bandaids in the bathroom. Ceiling fans in the living and bedroom areas were nice, and we did use the efficient bedroom air conditioner one hot night. But what makes this place special was the location next to the river. We could sit on the chairs provided at the river's edge, watching fly fisherman cast their lines and great bird life - an interest of ours. It's a special, peaceful spot. We also got in a good swim at Oqagua State Park, not far away. Overall a great weekend which we'd love to repeat.

COVID vacation
How to take a COVID-safe vacation? A cabin in the Catskills. Cook for yourself in the fully equipped kitchen, to avoid restaurant issues. Only one other cabin on the property, so no lobby or elevator crowds. Hiking, biking, and swimming within easy drives. Worth a return visit. Great place.
