Comfortable & Easy
It was great to wake up each morning to bugling elk and watch for the large herd that roamed around in the canyon out the front window. Beautiful and peaceful. Just a hop, skip, and jump to Red Rocks and Golden. Will book this place again in the future.

Wonderful experience
The host was very helpful and accommodating! Very easy to work with. The views at this property were spectacular! One minor thing to note, we got in after dark and the gps directions were a little misleading so we pulled in the wrong driveway but the host called right away and got us straightened out! We came out for a show at Red Rocks and it was super easy to get up and down the mountain to the venue! Definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

Our family stayed here for 3 nights. We couldn't believe how large this place is! It is nestled on the mountain top with close access to the Buffalo Bill Museum and the Mother Cabrini Shrine. It was such a blessing to see the large statue of Jesus from the front porch! We also saw a fawn and mama deer. Absolutely beautiful- you can see the mountain side from one side of the property and an amazing aerial view of the city of Denver on the other. We can't say enough great things- would leave 6 stars if we could. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of cooking aids. Thank you for the memories!

Beautiful property. Very clean, quiet, and well provided. Stayed five days. Loved every minute. The view from the front porch and the elk in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Retreat
The property and view were wonderful. The first night a small herd of elk came right into the back yard in front of us. In addition to the terrific vista, the location was convenient to many parks and trails and very serene. It was very nice just to relax on the porch and grill out if an evening.

Lovely Property
Where to start?! The property and surrounding area are absolutely gorgeous- serene, peaceful with lots of birds and a few elk! We woke up to elk on the property the first morning! The unit itself is bigger than I imagined. Huge master bedroom, very large second bedroom, big dining/living area and a washer/dryer if you need it. The kitchen was well-appointed. I'm always thankful for previous guests who leave a coffee filter and condiments (or to the owners!). We were in town for a concert at Red Rocks and I think it took us 14 minutes to get to the venue. You can't beat it! We would definitely stay here again, especially if going to Red Rocks, or to hike the Golden/Morrison/Idaho Springs area . So much to see, lots of hiking, and great breweries. Hosts were great as well-very responsive!

A Fantastic Getaway

Super Place!!
Th e room was ideal for 2 couples. Super clean and I really liked that they had coffee and seasonings available for cooking. We went to Red Rock so we were glad to get this as its a hop skip jump to highway to get there. I would definately stay again!!

Amazing!!!!
This property is amazing. It was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The views are breathtaking as well. We saw elk in the yard every morning. We had tickets to Red Rocks and it was only 5 Miles to the entrance. Close to Golden and Morrison. We will be coming back every summer!

Hillside dream!
Spacious home, clean, and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies. Elk and deer were plentiful. Tire swing was a win for our girls. View of the city at night on the street. Day trips to RMNP, Idaho Springs, Red Rocks, and Golden were perfect if you stay here! This home makes you love Colorado so much you wont want to leave..... we hope to be back one day!

Great Location for a red rocks concert
My wife and I loved our stay. We attended a concert at the Red Rocks and the location could not be beat. It was only a 10 minute drive to the venue. Highly recommend.

Amazing property, amazing stay!
Everything about this place was absolutely perfect. Most picturesque setting, extremely well-equipped with everything we needed, and the host was so accommodating. We stayed over Christmas and she even put a tree up for us! We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare big meals. Beautiful property inside and out with plenty of linens and comfortable beds and couches. Perfect for a holiday stay with family. Thank you, Becky, for being such a gracious host, attentive to our ever need. We will be back!

Perfect location
We had the most amazing stay! You are tucked into a neighborhood, you wouldn’t even know it. You can watch the sunrise over Denver and the sunset behind the mountains. Elk and deer grazed on the mountainside. Absolutely wonderful stay, easy process and perfect location for day trips to the mountains, Denver or hiking adventures. Great for a family or friends. Enjoyed mornings and evenings relaxing on the patio. Thank you - we will be back!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!
First off the hosts are great. I texted them a couple times and I received immediate responses. The facilities were clean and very comfortable. The views from the back porch were breathtaking! Looking down a deep valley and listening to the Elk talk to each other was great! Almost everyday we had a herd of Elk grassing around the area. We had friends and family over who live in the area and plan to recommended this property when they have visitors in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Colorado!

Golden Colorado trip
Beautiful VRBO in the heart of Golden. Check in was very easy. Please was very clean and adequately stocked with necessitates. Perfect place to stay if you're attending a concert at the Red Rocks.

Beautiful home and scenic views
What an awesome experience! The home was perfect, nestled in a little valley with the most beautiful views. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a herd of elf laying in the sun, followed by a fox and her kit laying in the den down below. The hosts were extremely responsive and made this a super smooth and easy process. We fell in love with Lookout Mountain and are already making plans to return!

Perfect Unit and Location
My wife and I stayed at this wonderful unit for five nights. The unit is spacious with nice large rooms and flow. The views from the deck are amazing. We were close to everything we wanted to do....Hikes in Apex, day-trips to Breckenridge and Boulder, walk through Golden, and a show at Red Rocks, which is only 15 min away. We didn't really need to reach out to the owners much because everything we needed was there, and their directions/instructions were spot-on. We highly recommend this rental.

Impromptu Getaway!
My wife and I, plus our 4-legged child, had to get out of town on short notice while our house went up for sale. Scott and Becky were fabulous, allowing us to stay just a tad longer while the last showing was going on. The guest house was very roomy, kitchen had all we needed (plus the keurig and pods was a nice touch!) - Can't say thank you loud enough! Would we go there again? Yes, in a New York second...

Spring Break Trip
Everything was great!!! Having dish soap, trash bags, laundry detergent and paper towels was a very welcome site! The house was clean and the perfect setup for us and the kitchen utensils made it more than convenient! The beds were comfy and plenty of pillows and blankets were provided. The beautiful scenery was an added bonus, as well! Thank you for being a dog friendly host! I left for a few hours yesterday and one of our little pooches decided the remote was a chew toy. It still works but doesn’t look very pretty. I ordered a replacement remote on Amazon to gave shipped to you address, however, it will not be on until Saturday. If there is anything else you’d like me to do to rectify this situation, please let me know! Again, thank you for allowing to stay in your beautiful apartment!

wonderful winter getaway
This was a wonderful spot to go drink hot chocolate and watch the quiet winter snow. We stayed here and cooked and played in the snow and enjoyed the pretty landscape. The place is spacious and cozy. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Would stay again!

Thanksgiving family vacation
We loved the view. Saw deer and elk every morning. It was our first time in a guest house below the main house that was occupied so that was a bit different. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need. The only thing that was awkward is the shower. Very small area when stepping out onto it and it gets slippery.

We are in the process of renovating the shower to expand the step and provide a grab bar for guests.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, had all the amenities we needed. The owners were available when needed, but also provided plenty of privacy. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the beautiful rolling hills with a cup of coffee in hand. Would love to stay here again sometime!

Thank you Becky and Scott for the perfect stay and location while in Golden for our son's wedding. Our family of 5 plus dog loved staying here! Quiet mountaintop neighborhood with a beautiful patio overlooking a gorgeous back yard. Very convenient to Denver, but also within 90 minutes or less to Mt Evans/Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Boulder, Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park and Brainard Lake. Close to 70. Large 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 5 very comfortably. Only negative was just one bathroom. Loved having an in-unit washer/dryer!

Spotless, large, and beautiful
Becky and Scott's rental is quite large, spotless, and has great views. It's a quiet spot in a beautiful location yet close to everything. The kitchen has everything you need to make any kind of meal you would like. There's outdoor seating including an outdoor table for dining. Everything is super clean! We really enjoyed the rental and our time in Golden!

Perfect quiet mountain getaway
We had the most wonderful time staying at Mountain Meadows. The pictures do not do the space and the view justice. The space itself is large and well appointed. Plenty of room for a family of four to spread out. Large bedrooms, good sized kitchen and very large living room/dining area. The outside patio is fantastic, with comfortable furniture to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. The house has a nice yard with a tire swing, great for kids! The location is perfect for access for the Apex trails and only a quick 15 minute drive into downtown Golden. We’re so glad we found this peaceful mountain meadows house and we look forward to returning.

Great place!
We had a lovely time at this property. We lucked out with some incredible weather and enjoyed sitting out on the patio most of the days / evenings! The unit was clean, and we had everything we needed. Hosts were accessible when needed, but left us our privacy which was appreciated. Location was great - felt secluded with great nature views and away from the hustle bustle, but close enough to jump in the car and be downtown in 15 minutes. Also, very close to some great hiking trails at Lookout Mountain. 100% recommend and would come back. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful views, nice accommodations, close to Red Rocks and many sites!
4 of us stayed this past weekend for a getaway, a visit with family and a bucket list show at Red Rocks. The views are stunning. It is so peaceful. The beds were comfortable. So many wonderful things to do in the area - this place makes for a great base to see the area. You are close enough to downtown Denver or Golden but just out of town so you feel like you are away from it all. Hosts were very easy to work with - even let us arrive early since the space was available. We will definitely stay again when we return!
