Summary:
Work, play and soak up local culture at this 3-bedroom renovated home in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe. The mountains are less than an hour away, and you can get Downtown in 10 minutes by car or about 20 minutes on foot. You’ll also enjoy strolling to restaurants, coffee shops and rock star breweries. Whip up meals in the huge, updated kitchen and stream your fave content on the 48-inch Smart TV. This is your home base for exploring the Mile High City and the magnificent Rocky Mountains!

The Space:
Welcome to a unique stay in beautiful Denver! No matter what is on your itinerary, this is a great place to hang your hat during your visit. Hardwood floors throughout the home set the tone – sophisticated and comfy. The location in the heart of the Art District on Santa Fe is reflected in the art adorning the walls.

Traveling with friends, family or a work group? Everyone will have their own space in this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom floorplan. The master bedroom has a king mattress, with queen beds in the additional rooms. Both bathrooms feature a tub and shower. The 48-inch LG Smart TV is set up with an Apple TV, and the Wi-Fi is lightning fast. Make the most of Denver’s 300+ days of sunshine in the roomy, leafy backyard.

You don’t have to worry about cooking with so many dining and imbibing options within walking distance, but the kitchen is huge and fully equipped if you prefer to wine and dine at home. You can walk to Joe Maxx Coffee Co or brew your own java and wander out to the lovely backyard. Denver is a wonderful mix of urban bustle and leafy open spaces, and this place is no exception. It’s an amazing spot with every bell and whistle to make sure you have the time of your life.

Everything you’ve heard about The Mile High City is true! The booming metro area has something for every kind of traveler. Soak in Western history at a museum, revel in cutting-edge culture at Meow Wolf, tempt your tastebuds at chic local restaurants and mind-blowing microbreweries, enjoy parks and greenways throughout the city, bag a 14er and a National Park, or ski at world-class resorts. This is the place to explore, play or even – if you must – get some work done on a business trip or flex-cation. We’re looking forward to hosting you!

The Neighborhood:
This is one of Denver’s most vibrant neighborhoods! When you’re not out exploring, there is so much to see within walking distance of the house. Stroll to Sunken Gardens Park and Alma-Lincoln Park. Renegade Brewing Company, a popular local microbrewery, is a 5-minute walk away. Looking for a fun and unusual diversion in the area? The Escapist, an escape room center, is within walking distance. Experience a Denver institution at the historic Buckhorn Exchange Restaurant. Grab your breakfast at Swift’s, a classic diner in the Art District on Santa Fe. We like to get our caffeine fix at Joe Maxx Coffee Co, which is in the same area. You can also tour Stranahan’s Whiskey, Colorado’s first home-grown whiskey company.


The Art District on Santa Fe is one of Colorado's designated Creative Districts, with more than 30 art galleries, studios and innovative businesses. The neighborhood's roots are evident around every corner, from colorful murals and the exhibitions at Museo de las Americas to the Latino influence on the neighborhood's restaurants.
The district features some of the most authentic Mexican culture in the city. It's also home to craft breweries and the Buckhorn Exchange, Denver's oldest dining establishment. First Friday Art Walks and Third Friday Collector's Previews attract both locals and visitors each month throughout the year. Art lovers can meet and mingle with artists and gallery owners while discovering contemporary, traditional and emerging art in unique and creative spaces.


If you’re cruising around Downtown, get oriented at Union Station, which has been reimagined as a cultural hub with cafes, art and shopping. From Union Station, Coors Field is within walking distance to the North, while Ball Arena (Nuggets and Avalanche) is to the South. Trendy Larimer Street is also nearby. You can catch a light rail train at Union Station to get to Empower Field at Mile High. The 16th Street Mall offers a free shuttle, which is the best way to get to the Denver Performing Arts Center as well as the State Capitol and Denver Mint.


Further East, it’s a short Uber ride to City Park, Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the Botanical Gardens, and other attractions. The new Meow Wolf art experience is also worth checking out, as are the Denver Aquarium and Elitch Gardens. All three are near Empower Field and the REI Flagship store.


Here for a concert? Red Rocks is a mere 20 minutes away by car. You may want to check out this area regardless of your itinerary – it’s a unique place, and its gateway town of Morrison is charming. Link up an easygoing riverside hike at Lair O’ The Bear or an afternoon paddleboarding or skating in Evergreen to really make a day of it. Further south, you’ll find Roxborough State Park (40 minutes) for more hiking trails. One of Colorado’s main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive 1.5 hours through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing and wildlife viewing.


Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder) or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience, but we’re also within a few hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and other snowy delights. There is a Nordic center near Breck if you want to try out cross-country skiing, and the summer months are a great time to rent a kayak to explore Dillon Reservoir.


In short, this is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Denver and the Rockies! It’s impossible to see everything in one visit, so we look forward to hosting you again after you fall in love with Mile High Life!

This is a walkable neighborhood, and getting around is even easier if you snag one of the rental bikes scattered around town. Denver has an excellent light rail network – you can hop on a train at the 10th / Osage Station, located 3 blocks west. Prefer to do your exploring on foot? Lower Downtown (LoDo) and the River North (RiNo) Arts District are both great choices for strolling, sipping microbrews and checking out the culinary scene.

You can easily walk Downtown, and the 16th Street Mall offers a free shuttle. If you drive Downtown, we recommend giving yourself some extra time to find parking. City Park and its attractions – Denver Zoo, Museum of Nature & Science, etc. – offer free parking, as does the Denver Botanical Garden on York Street. The Botanical Garden also has a location at Chatfield Farms, a short drive away, which offers festive fun during the fall and winter seasons.

Driving is the best way to explore the mountains, although there are also some ski shuttle companies in the area. We strongly advise against relying on Lyft and Uber in the mountains! However, both services are readily available in the Denver Metro area. If you are hanging around town, a combination of walking, ride shares and light rail will probably get you where you need to go.

Other Things to Note:
This is a non-smoking, non-vaping home! We appreciate that some of our guests may wish to indulge in some of Colorado’s herbal offerings, but this is not the place. An odor fee will be added to your reservation if this policy is violated. Thank you in advance for your compliance.


Amenities include self check-in, a fully stocked kitchen, coffee, fast Wi-Fi and Smart TV with streaming services.


We do have neighbors! Please observe the quiet hours of 10 PM to 8 AM, especially in the backyard. If you are enjoying being outside late at night, keep your voices low, don’t play music, and be respectful.


Absolutely no parties.


No removing furniture from the inside to bring outside. Outside furniture is provided and should be the only thing used outdoors.


Any additional guests need to be added to reservation.


The home is climate controlled by a Swamp Cooler and Heat for a comfortable stay.

We stayed at this house in downtown Denver for two nights. The location was excellent—central and convenient to everything we needed. Communication with the property management team was prompt, clear, and professional, which we appreciated.The kitchen and bathrooms appeared clean and well-maintained, which was a plus. However, the rest of the property could benefit from a deep cleaning. Several rugs and runners were noticeably stained, and areas under the beds hadn’t been dusted or cleaned in some time. The backyard was minimally maintained, and a non-functioning bicycle chained to the back steps detracted from the outdoor space. Overall, the home had a grimy feel that didn’t align with the cleaning fee being charged.While we appreciated the location and responsive management, I wouldn’t recommend this property at this time due to its overall condition.

Every thing from checking in to the cleanness to the general ambiance was just right. Really enjoyed this older property... its age added charm and character... every room and even the backyard sitting area was perfectly arranged.

We stayed at the property to attend a conference at the Colorado Convention Center. It was an easy 20 minute walk to get there. Their are also bars and restaurants close by on Santa Fe Drive. The house itself was clean, well stocked, and comfortable.

Our family was very comfortable and happy with our stay. Communication with the property management was excellent! Immediately responsive to every question. Property was within walking distance to Santa Fe Arts District, Denver Art Museum and Christkindlmarket. Also within walking distance to rail line. Thank you for a memorable family holiday!

This home appears much better online. Unfortunately, the pictures are deceiving. The home is in need of updating. Our first night there we discovered a leaky roof in a second kitchen which we had to clean up. We were concerned that the roof in that area would certainly collapse and seriously concerned about mold.

We had a really good stay at this lovely house. The place is as described. Photos are accurate. Professional clean. Quality linens. Comfortable pillows. Everything you need for cooking. Easy check in. Great communication with management. Interesting neighborhood. 1 mile from Union Station. Highly recommend. Would return.

The property was great - very clean, nice decorations, comfortable, and charming! We were within walking distance of the wedding venue, and during the rest of our stay the property was centrally located for many activities. We enjoyed the aquarium, local brew pubs, and easy access to shopping. I highly recommend this property.

This house is the perfect size for our party of three couples - private bedrooms for all, two nice bathrooms, everything we needed in the kitchen, and an open dining/living room. Loved the backyard area. Convenient location as well.
