"Amazing property! Photos don't capture the beauty of this place. Inside of cabin is unbelievable. There is a road nearby, but the traffic is so minimal that it doesn’t take away from the experience at all. "This place was perfect. That porch over looking the lake and the stars. Lots of wildlife to see. The house is perfect, stocked with all the essentials and more then I’ve ever had in a vrbo stay. The cabin is far enough away to be quiet, but close to all the essentials. I’ve been to Machias area a million times, this was the best visit yet. I’ve already booked my week for next year. Next year Im hoping to see a moose."

Notes for parents with small kids: the walk to the beach is alongside the creek not the road so think about what you want to carry, upstairs where the twin beds are are skylights and the sun rises very early this far east- travel blackout curtains might be helpful."
