"Super close to Water Country USA. Ants were a slight problem but that’s the season we are in. Everyone was really nice at the property. Kitchen/living room was very small in the 1 bedroom when the sleeper sofa was pulled out. "

"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

"Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here."

"We hadn’t stayed in an RV before, so this was a unique experience for us. Very clean & cozy accommodations and located close to many tourist attractions in the surrounding area. Easy parking out front was helpful, and the detailed & friendly communication with the host was also appreciated."

"We took our twin daughters up for a few days to have fun at Busch Gardens. This house was perfect for everything that we wanted! The girls each took a friend, so the 4 girls took over the bedrooms upstairs. We mostly ate at the house & the fully was more stocked than I expected!I don’t even know if I can list any constructive criticism. I was a perfect 3 night get away "

"The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner...

"The condo was very nice, clean and well appointed, just as described. Kingsmill is a beautiful community! "

"This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

"We had a great time. Everything was just as it was described. We loved the water and had a great time on the kayaks and paddleboard. Home is so close to the ferry to get over to Jamestown colony and Williamsburg. We loved exploring the area. Close enough to all the hot spots-Newport News, Norfolk and Virginia Beach (about an hour away).AC and Linda were quick to reply to questions we asked.We would love to stay here again!"
