"It was a lovely property with an interesting history. We visited in the middle of a heat wave and without any A/C and being unable to open the windows more than a few inches, the rooms were hot! A nice quiet fan was provided but it made the heat slightly less unbearable. Thank goodness for the pool! The staff were pleasant and helpful."

"Stayed at the Percy hotel whilst on business and have to say the room and facilities were excellent. One standout was the restaurant which I dined in on both evenings. Speciality is the steaks and the Tuesday steak offer where I had a 16oz rump which I gave to say was the best cut of meat I have had in a very longtime. "I was little disappointed as when I booked through hotels.com platform,they advertised it as breakfast included free but then when I arrived at the hotel, I was told breakfast was not included. They didn't tell me the cost of the breakfast until I asked, neither was I given a receipt of my payment made (I should have asked but I had three little kids to sort out and it slipped out of my mind) The room was stuffy, there was a fan which only had speed control and didn't do a great job. "Drunk male receptionist took ages to check us in , then given me a room I haven’t book . I have booked one family large room 145 - two green standing single beds and double bed room and I was given one double bed , one single and pull out of this bed to sleep on the floor type matrasse bed , when I questioned this he said that I was suppose to be told this when booked - nonsense I booked via this page with photos of the room - freestanding two single beds !!!"
