Lake home on beautiful Crooked lake!

Welcome to our home! This home sits on over 2 acres of beautiful land with over 300 feet of lake frontage and offers some of the best views of Upper Crooked Lake. The lake is 735 acres of all sports fun. Fishing, skiing, tubing, swimming, and exploring are our favorite things to do on the lake. Back at the property, you can enjoy the large space ideal for bonfires, grilling out, and playing games. Inside you’ll find plenty of space for gathering. The home can easily sleep 12. If your party is larger, send us a message and we can discuss how we might be able to accommodate you. There is a brand new water treatment system in place! Clean fresh drinking water.

This was a great property, it's even better than the pictures. The owners just did a huge upgrade to the backyard with a new deck with nice table and chairs with umbrella, stairs down to a brand new dock and patio. It is wonderful, would definitely go again.

Great Owner

the property was very nice, peaceful, the fishing was great and it's on a dead-end road there is no car noise. We had a furnace problem the owner had someone at the house to fix in two hours!!! The only thing we heard or seen all week was deer, foxes, ducks and squires. I recommend staying there

Quiet lake getaway

We loved this place! Quiet curvy road with no through traffic. Right on a peaceful lake with kayaks and a row boat to use (bring your own life vests). Cute house, owner was very fast answering any questions.

Wonderful! Quiet! Spacious home & property on lake!

Wonderful getaway on quiet lake! Beautiful porch over looking lake to enjoy meals and coffee. Spacious & clean home with all your necessities! Host has wonderful communication! We visited the Air Zoo, mini golf & go carts, Crows Nest, Tavern32, The Local Grind, Liz’s Parkview Cafe, Dogs & More and Tujax Tavern.

Fantastic Stay- Highly recommend

The host Alden Meulenberg was very helpful, responsive and very nice! The place was clean, had access to the water (my family did some kayaking and swimming) The space was really well kept and the deck was charming and had a nice path down to the lake. The provided towels were more than for my family with 5 girls who often used a towel for their heads Pleanty of dishes and utensils and kureg to boot. Would definitely come back!

Spacious home with good location

Quiet area of the lake. Owner very responsive. We had an unpredictable issue with HVAC and it was resolved quickly. I would definitely go back to this property

Beautiful Setting in Crooked Lake

We chose this location for a quick family getaway. This lakeside property was absolutely perfect. From sunrise until sunset we were outside. The kids played in the water, used the kayaks and rowboat and were never inside the house. If we had any questions or needs the owner was extremely responsive! We will definitely be back!

A fun week!

We had a great week- the grandkids enjoyed fishing, swimming and kayaking at the property- the water was shallow so we weren’t worried about them down by the water. Went putt putting in Battlecreek, shopping one day in Kalamazoo and made a trip to Holland and Lake Michigan one day. Ned’s at Gull Lake was a nice place to eat and get ice cream, Sajo’s Pizza was good and the Hot Dog stand had great hot dogs and milkshakes. Fun week making lots of family memories!

Great views from a wonderful deck!

We had a great time! Lots of beds and clean bedding for sleeping. The views from the deck were a favorite feature, as well as the water access of course! The dining room table was large and allowed for us to have a puzzle going, and still had space for people to eat! Easy to put a kayak in the water and paddle around. Lots of gorgeous lily pads and really easy for kiddos to catch small blue gills off the dock! The sofa and a recliner had some dirt/stains, so we covered them with blankets. Some of the kitchen utensils and drawers could use a good cleaning or replacing. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves and had a great time!

A lovely home in a quiet peaceful neighborhood with nice view of the lake from a large well furnished deck. Large well equipped kitchen made meal prep enjoyable. Master bedroom and bath are great. Bunk bed bedrooms and location of second bathroom are fine for large family with children but a little awkward for adults and especially seniors.

The house was nice and clean . My 83 year old mom , and great grand kids enjoyed the great fishing off the dock caught lots of fish near fish bed...the was house great had excellent time..

Great Property!

Had another wonderful weekend at the property! Host is very responsive as usual. House is comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Spent most of the weekend outdoors, grilling, boating, fishing, and sitting by the fire. Quite and relaxing cabin on the lake. Highly recommend, 5 stars all around!

Right on the water!

Beautiful home to stay at. We were able to fish off the dock with our 4 year old grandson. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The cranes were migrating thru. The home owner was very accommodating! Great place to stay!

Exceeded our expectations

The pictures do not do this place justice. The property is tremendous and is surrounded by great views of the lake. The home is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The home has a large and open kitchen area, spacious bedrooms, nice clean bathrooms, and a nice patio area overlooking the lake. After spending a week there fishing the lake, I can honestly say that this home is one of the best properties on the entire lake. So peaceful, so quiet, so perfect. I can't wait to go back next year. We have rented dozens of VRBO's all over the country, and this rental is one of my favorites yet. The communication with the property manager was quick and easy. This property is located on a private road with a few other very nice homes, but the properties are spaced very well, and each one is on several acres and everyone keeps to themselves. Please respect the quiet tranquility of this property and it's surroundings, because I want to make sure it's still available next year :) P.S. - One of my favorite things about the house was a beautiful framed artwork of 'The Ten Commandments' right by the front door. It gave us a good feeling right from the start.

Great little getaway!

This house very comfortably accommodated our large family (2 parents, 5 young kids) VERY comfortably. Plenty of clean bedding, towels, kitchen gadgets, etc. No complaints whatsoever. Hope to book this property again in the future.
