"Great location. House is clean. The finishes and equipment/utensils are all high-end. The property owner is super responsive and accommodating. The long dock off the back of the property is awesome. We saw plenty of fish, crabs, birds, and porpoises during our stay. If you like crabbing and fishing and sipping wine on the water; stay here! "

"Great place to stay for the weekend. Place was quiet and peaceful. The house furnished well with great amenities. Fishing and kayaking from off the dock. Also life jackets available for the kids for safety as well. Catching crabs off the docks, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. The house has nice deck in the back where we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon and evening activities playing corn hole, and spent good time sitting in front of fire pit was great. It was pleasure to stay spent...

"It was just a quick getaway with my husband and the room and grounds were wonderful!The host couldn’t have been nicer, nor more accommodating! The bed was great, amenities plentiful, and the room was beautiful. The neighborhood as ideal for our power walk. And…..the view!!!! The seating area on the dock was our favorite place for morning coffee and nightcaps!!We will definitely be back!!"

"We loved our stay at the Cedar Point Carriage House! Everything was very clean and well planned. The kitchen and baths had all the amenities and then some! Thank you for allowing us to bring our boat. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the dock and views more. This rental made everything perfect for a long overdue friend reunion weekend! "Great stay and fantastic views. Felt like we were isolated, yet only 10 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoyed the great blue heron, seagulls, nuthatches and humming bird that were around the property. Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out."

"This was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The cottage itself was perfect, simple, clean and cozy. Cheri has everything you would ever need! The view of the bay and the private beach are amazing, especially with being able to bring our fur babys! They had an absolute blast swimming and so did the humans. We kayaked and tried paddle boarding for the first time which is something we would have never had the opportunity to do.The host was great! There was a little snag with our payment...

"Tthe history of the property itself was amazing. Not to mention the surrounding area. The house was near to the community but also far enough out to be very quiet and peaceful. We loved the open floor plan of the main level but if you have issues with mobility, accessing the stairs to the second floor may be an issue. "

"I would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway! The hosts were just lovely! They were very informative and helpful all around!Check in was super easy! Fully stocked pantry and amenities! Kitchen was quaint and perfect for all cooking needs! I would go again! It was a wonderful time! Close to lots of great beaches! Great learning opportunities bc of all its museums and historical sites! 10/10! Spend some time relaxing in VA at Kimary Cove! "

"This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first...

"We cooked all our meals using both kitchens and had plenty of room and supplies to do so. Absolutely loved the grill and outdoor seating arrangements. We had plenty of room for everyone and the home matched exactly as advertised. "

"I sent my wife, her foreign guest, and the neighbor on an outing—mainly because the noise level at home had reached “incoming artillery level”.I steered them away from repetitive shopping, they enjoyed some fresh air, and I found the sound of silence.Unfortunately… they’ve returned.They loved it.
