"Our family was driving from Maryland to Pittsburgh for my brother's wedding and the inlaws did some grocery shopping for us so we didn't have to. The host let them drop off groceries for us before check in. The drive was long for our 2 kids, mainly the 4 year old. The house was well furnished, kitchen utensils/appliances (even had a small air fryer!) and was family friendly. They even had a baby bullet for those with younger kids. "It was a quiet street, but so close to everything. The home was perfect for us to stay in one room, and our daughter's family to stay in the two rooms on the other side. One room had a Barbie dream house, compkete with Barbies! Our little Grand loved it! Other toys and lots of books too. And the pool and huge yard! "We stayed for 6 nights to be close to my grandson who had heart surgery at UPMC Children’s Hospital. The location of the home was perfect for easy access to the hospital and the amenities such as the washer & dryer, and nicely appointed kitchen made the stay homey and comfortable. The area also has some great restaurants close by. The homeowner, Frank, was fantastic and was quick to respond to any and all requests. "
