"I was lucky enough to have two weeks at Deer Bay Hideaway. Having spent all my childhood summers on this lake, it felt like a homecoming and was able to share the same experience with local family who also came out for visits. The cottage has a great aesthetic, with lots of space for our needs, and is comfy and relaxing. "I was very impressed with the setup and the decor of the apartment. It was very convenient to be steps away from the bridge and the main street. Was very grateful that it was pet-friendly. My dog was very comfortable. One thing I would recommend is to add a light in the walkway to the apartment. It was very uncomfortable to be alone walking between the two buildings in the dark. "

"Really loved the property, experience, and over all accommodations offered by the amazing owners. The AC was really nice in the heat, electricity and running water made our stay very comfortable. Having the option of TV was also nice once it was later. Perfect out door eating space, BBQ was handy and The wonderful tour of the animal sanctuary to end our stay was great and educational. I would definitely recommend, the owners made it a really great experience."

"This card was just as listed on VRBO. The location was beautiful, and the cottage was very large and modern with a huge kitchen well supplied with everything. "Our family and friends really enjoyed the house and all the amenities. The house is beautiful with lots of room for our 3 families. But the best part was the 2 tiered deck and dock right on the gorgeous lake. Sunsets were mesmerizing as well. We loved our stay here and would give it a solid recommendation. "
