"My three old friends and I had a relaxing, peaceful weekend in this beautiful cabin in the woods. Only the sounds of nature accompanied us as we sat around the fire pit and reminisced. When we first arrived we found out from the owner they’d been made aware of the hot water heater not working as it should. "Easy to book; friendly staff; keycard entry; clean cabin and porch; quiet; grounds well kept; kitchen had all needed items ( maybe add a toaster) ; screened in porch ; air and fan. Good cell reception , pretty lake ; good location "

"Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer...

"Was looking for a place where our family could stay together and be comfortable for our youngest daugter's wedding. Boy, did we find it. It was a beautiful lodge and they made us feel so welcome. Lots of room and the views were amazing. Even got to get a close up view of the moon through the telescope. It was clean and well stocked. Peter even provided us with fresh eggs which the family loved. Would definitely stay again if we get the opportunity. "

"We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again. "

"This large cabin was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed for a nice little getaway from home for my family. You would never know you were in the middle of Imperial. Between the large bedrooms, modern bathrooms, and a very well stocked kitchen, we didn’t need to bring much. The patio out back was perfect to enjoy the sounds of nature and see an abundance of deer. We even enjoyed the lake area! This is our new place to come back to when we have another family function to attend....

"The cabin is nice remote spot yet not far from Fenton where we attended a wedding. There is a long hilly gravel road to the cabins which was no problem. We saw deer grazing nearby. The place is brand new and Christopher Bates was very welcoming and responsive. I would stay there again and recommend it to others."
