Perry's used to be a well kept family resort with it being one of the largest Hotels on A1A, however our last stay found it in disrepair,, only 1 elevator working, the breakfast area had a very rotten odor, our sink stopped up, the fan over the oven did not work, the grass was unattended and brown, the ocean wall was still knocked from last year's hurricane, and more but let's not beat a dead horse. The high point was the staff was surprisingly happy, very helpful, and polite. I have been coming here for fver 50 years was was quite disappointed. I spoke with Paulette, The Manager, and she was respectful and explained they were still recovering from last years hurricane, and delays with permitting. She apologized and was empathetic. I asked for nothing and got nothing in return. If I should ever decide to go back I will ask about the sate of repairs first, as this stay was made through Expedia. My suggestion is to call first.
