We've stayed at this property several times but it has progressively gone downhill. Most recently when we arrived with our two cats after 10 hours in the car, the room we were given was unlocked, and upon entry we saw that the beds were unmade, there was food smeared all over the counters, and grease smeared on the floor. When we notified the manager of the issue, she said that there were no more queen rooms available and she would have to try and have this one cleaned. We were told she could not put us in a different room even temporarily because that would prevent her from selling it, so we had to wait 45 mins. After waiting the 45 mins, we returned and were told the room was too bad to be salvaged in the time they had and that they'd located a different room that was also marked as needing special attention but that wasn't as bad as the first one. We were told to wait another 30 mins for that room to be cleaned. Upon finally arriving at the room, we discovered that there was hair on the bathroom floor, no soap, and that the beds had been made but the sheets had not been changed. There was hair and debris on the sheets. I called the manager, who informed me that the housekeeping staff was gone for the night and that there was nothing she could do. When I asked if they could at least bring clean sheets up for me to change, she agreed but never did. We left after less than an hour and found another hotel but were still charged a pet fee, which I had to work to get refunded.
