The White Hart House can actually accommodate more than 8 people/3 bedrooms. Please message us for more info! We are close to a lot of the North GA wineries. Perfect for a day trip to Dahlonega! We offer wine tours, boat excursions and more! With award winning wines, weddings, seasonal attractions, pickleball, and only 5 minutes away from the North GA Premium Outlets, the White Hart House is the perfect location!
BOOKING A RESERVATION: To confirm a reservation/stay, 100% of the payment, and signed Short Term Lease Agreement are due immediately. Dates will not be held without receipt of payment or Short Term Lease Agreement. If rental dates are requested by more than one party, the dates are confirmed and reserved to the first party to submit both their signed lease agreement and payment. Upon receipt of payment, and signed contract a reservation/stay confirmation will be sent via Airbnb messaging. All rates are subject to change until a reservation/stay confirmation is issued. Failure to pay any balance can result in an automatic forfeiture of all deposit and partial payment monies and full loss of reservation.
ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PAYMENT: Form of payment accepted are Credit Card. Cash or personal checks are not an acceptable form of payment.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Once reservation is booked, any changes and cancellations may be subject to penalties and/or forfeiture of security deposit. All cancellations must be done via Airbnb. The following cancellation guidelines will apply*:
Strict: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. There will be no refunds for early departures or overall bad/inclement weather (see INCLEMENT WEATHER).
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: To book our residence a Guest must be an adult of at least 25 years of age with a valid major credit card and proof of age. In addition, an adult of at least 25 years of age must be present in the residence at all times during the entire stay. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Bookings made under false pretenses will result in cancellation of reservations, and appropriate cancellation policy/fees will be charged to Guests’ credit card on file.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: Inclement weather will be defined as: “any named Severe Storm or Hurricane that causes the evacuation of the property at any time during Guests’ reservation dates”. In the unlikely event the area is evacuated during Guests’ reservation dates - due to inclement weather conditions - the security deposit and/or remaining monies paid will be used toward a future booking in this residence. Unfortunately, run-of-the-mill bad weather does happen and does not qualify as a refundable, nor transferable future stay, situation. Refunds will only be considered if the property becomes legally uninhabitable.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES: Check-in time is any time after 4pm ET. Check-out time is by 10am ET. IT IS VITAL THAT CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES ARE STRICTLY OBSERVED SO THAT CLEANING CREW HAS ADEQUATE TIME TO PREPARE THE RESIDENCE FOR THE NEXT INCOMING GUESTS. Special requests for earlier check-in or later check-out must be made, in writing, in advance and approved by the property owner. Failure to leave at the specified check-out time will result in a monetary penalty of one nights stay based on the average nightly rate paid by the violating guest. This amount will be deducted from the held security deposit and/or charged to the credit card on file. In addition, the cleaning crew has authority to call for the removal of guests and their belongings and to change the entry code on the residence.
ARRIVAL PROCEDURES: Before arriving to the property, you will be provided with a door code to unlock the door –
DEPARTURE PROCEDURES: Before leaving the residence, please complete the following tasks: (Please read carefully)
1. Remove your all personal items and any other items brought to the property by you or your group (includes refrigerators, freezers, pantries, closets, etc.)
2. Leave all dishes, pots, pans, utensils clean. Run dishwasher upon departure. Housekeeping will put clean items in the dishwasher away.
3. Leave all sheets, pillows, bedspreads, blankets, etc. that were used on the beds.
4. In the unlikely event an accident to any property occurs, such as breaking a dish, spilling liquid on carpet, staining a bedspread PLEASE let us know immediately. Accidents happen, but we need to know about them immediately.
5. Turn off all lights inside.
6. Place all trash from kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and dock in the trash receptacle outside the garage. *TRASH MUST BE BAGGED- EVEN BOXES* If you have more trash than the cans will hold, you will need to take it with you. If you are staying during the week, trash pickup service is early Monday morning.
7. Please make sure all exterior doors and garage door are closed and locked, as well as any windows opened during your stay.
8. Clean off all spilled food and beverages on dock, so as not to attract insects.
9. Pull dock ladder out of water as it was when you arrived.
10. Stow paddle boards, life vests, and any other equipment as found when you arrived, and please tie everything down, so it does not fly away.
11. Cover all outdoor furniture with covers as they were when you arrived. Covers can be stowed in dock box and outdoor porch chest.
12. Stow swim mat rolled on dock as it was when you arrived.
13. Stow tube on dock to the post as found when you arrived.
14. Stow all rafts with bungees so will not blow away.
15. Please be respectful of our personal boat and jet skis on lifts. Please stay AWAY and OFF. For liability issues it is not allowed for guests to get on top or use the jetskis or boat.
16. Clean and cover grills as they were when you arrived..
17. THERMOSTAT – If you have changed the preset temperature, you will need to reset the thermostat before you check out to 75 on all levels.
RESIDENCE SUPPLIES & ACCOMMODATIONS: This residence is similar to your home and with adequate supplies for a brief stay including cleaning products. However, if you need anything during your stay, please contact the property manager at any time. A washer and dryer are available in the residence. All items including linens, towels, décor furniture, dishware, games, etc. are inventoried at the beginning and end of each Guests’ stay and any missing items will incur a replacement charge. YOU BREAK IT, YOU BUY IT.
The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with pots/pans, cookware, utensils, all pertinent small appliances, etc... The residence is also supplied with a starter supply of the following items: toilet tissue, paper towels, dish soap, hand/bar soap and trash bags.
Furthermore, lounge chairs, paddle boards, canoe and inflatables are available for your use at the dock. GUESTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE ANY OF THE OWNER’S MOTORIZED EQUIPMENT INCLUDING BOAT. Guests are permitted to dock their own boat on the side of the dock throughout their stay.
MAINTENANCE ISSUES – EMERGENCY OR NON EMERGENCY: All emergency, major and minor maintenance issues such as plumbing, heating and cooling, phone, cable, structural, light bulbs, broken/missing décor items, etc. will be handled by the property manager. Please contact IMMEDIATELY.
NO-SMOKING: This residence is NON-SMOKING in the house, on the decks, screened porch, or dock. If you must smoke, please bring your own ash tray and do so outside away from the house and do not leave any evidence that smoking has occurred. If we have to remove evidence of smoking on the property, your deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning charges will be applied to the credit card on file on an as needed basis.
NOISE: Renters are responsible for following all noise ordinances, keeping music and loud noises to a minimum and being respectful to neighbors as we are in a residential neighborhood with neighbors next door. Loud noises and profanity within earshot of the neighbors will be met with loss of deposit and possible expulsion from the property. Please do not bring or use any outside sound systems, microphones, boom boxes, speakers, amplification equipment or audio devices. Guests shall not disturb or offend any neighbors, discharge firearms, create loud or obnoxious noises, or use fireworks of any kind in accordance with State of Georgia and Dawson County laws.
SAFETY: Renter shall see to their own security while in the property by locking doors, windows, garage doors, etc. when it’s prudent to do so.
NO PETS: Pets/animals are not permitted in the residence at any time unless requested in writing, paid for by guest, and approved by the owner IN ADVANCE. The security deposit will be automatically forfeited if the cleaning crew confirms that any suspected pets/animals were present in the residence without approval (pet hair, smell, stains, etc..).
GUESTS CAPACITY: Guests must convey at the time of booking the total number of persons that will be staying in the residence. Having more persons staying in the residence than what was originally conveyed is not permitted and may result in forfeiture of Rental Fees and expulsion from the property. Maximum number of guests allowed in this residence is 12.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Renters agree to abide by state law prohibiting the consumption of alcohol on the property by minors and will not bring any illegal drugs onto the property.
