"From the moment you arrive you are greeted by Adam, who makes you feel so very welcome. It’s like coming home. The apartment is absolutely spotless, and very well kitted out for all you could ever need. The beds are very comfortable, so is the lounge furniture. "We were a little disappointed with our stay . It was impossible to hang clothes in the wardrobe in Bedroom 1 as it was stacked high with bed linen . Also a lot of bed linen in other wardrobe . The fan in one of the bathrooms was not working resulting in a lot of condensation on the floor making it very slippery . The canisters which may have held tea and sugar were empty . The name on the lockbox has faded . On the plus side it was a great location "

"I have been staying in Dartmouth working for the past 8 months and wish I found this place sooner. It is a lovely room with views and the couple are lovely and very welcoming. This place is better than all the hotels that I have stayed in. Would 100% recommend and happily stay in again."

"Amazing view but otherwise left much to be desired. There are about 20 steep steps with narrow treads down to the apartment. Carrying luggage up and down was very challenging particularly as Torquay is not the kind of resort that attracts younger guests. Street parking is a lottery with not sufficient spaces for the large number of apartments. After circling for over half an hour we eventually had no option other than park illegally.Communication with the host was excellent until I pointed out...

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"The property is exactly as described. Very nicely appointed, perfectly clean and in a good location. It can be noisey at the weekend due to its proximity to a nightclub, but it didn't affect us during our weekend stay. We would certainly return again."

"Very clean and came with all the amenities we required. The Smart TV was able to be moved around so we could enjoy TV whilst eating or whilst in bed. A very convenient location right in the epicentre of where we wanted to go/what we wanted to do, very cosy on the inside too! Hosts were great with communication and we'd absolutely return again!"
