"Great place with good lake access and facilities. Kids and adults loved the game room,floating dock and swim platform too.Hosts responded quickly to inquiries and even checked in with me during a Tstorm warning to make sure we were aware. Only down-side is that it is so popular we couldn't book again next year. Highly recommend!"

"Relaxing, quiet week. Renting the pontoon was the best decision we made. When you rent a VRBO you never know what you will run into. Below is information that I would have found helpful to know. The front of the house is a 4 season porch. It isn't very deep so it wasn't somewhere to hang out but it was great to use for our extra stuff and for coming and going! "We stayed five nights at Waters edge retreat with our daughter and her husband and their two children ages six and two. The accommodations were perfect! The cottage was recently updated and spotless! It had ample room for our group, including laundry. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, spices, extra paper, towel, etc. Dishes and pots and pans were all in beautiful condition! There is no zero entry into the lake, but it is very shallow near shore and we had no problem swimming there...

"Just as listed with a ton of extras. Jill and Jim were excellent hosts answering all our questions and responsive to our needs. Both boats were great, the house was clean and comfortable, and lots of room to spread out and relax. We took one day to hit the Mall of America 1 1/2 hour drive each way, but other than that, spent the rest of the week at the house and boating. Caught a handful of bass but nothing crazy. "Stayed here with family for a couple chill days on the lake. We loved the space to spread out, the hot tub, and all the toys on a rainy day. House was clean, quiet, and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, but a bit sparce. If you keep your cooking simple (or get takeout from the great pizza spot) you'll be good to go! Communication with the hosts was great as well."
