"My family has found our new home away from home when visiting Wisconsin!! We loved the ease in checkin and communication with the host. Plenty of space for my family and everything we needed. Very close to downtown restaurants, grocery store as well as easy route to Mineral Point and Dodgeville. Loved having access to washer and dryer, well stocked kitchen, front porch swings and very comfortable family room for some movie time! Most comfortable beds of any Vrbo we've stayed in"

The property has been well maintained, with very clean and updated bathrooms, comfortable beds upstairs, and spacious kitchen, dining, and family/living areas downstairs. We played games and watched a couple movies during our stay, and walked the short distance to enjoy the downtown square to shop, dine, and browse the farmers market. "SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. The room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, and perfectly clean. "The issue I had, which I shared with the owner was that from the description, add on services available, and photos we thought we were renting an entire place for a short friends reunion weekend. The description was a vacation home on a lake and it is 2 bedrooms with bathrooms under a real estate office. The coffee maker and fridge are in the bathroom. The area is quiet and nice, its about 30 min to Galena, which was where we went each day. There is a marina, a pool, and a beach close but...
