Surfers STUDIO is located just a few minutes from Interlaken on Lake Thun. It is one of the seven SURFERSHOME apartments and is ideal for couples – small, cosy and with wonderful views of the mountains and lake.



🏡 With a combined living and sleeping area, a kitchenette, and a balcony, it’s perfect for a relaxing getaway in a quiet setting, just a few minutes from Interlaken.



The Space:

The studio offers a fully equipped kitchenette, a comfortable living and sleeping area, and beautiful views of the mountains and Lake Thun.

Guest Access:

You have access to the entire apartment, the balcony, as well as the outdoor pool and the lakeside lawn at Lake Thun 🏊‍♂️🌿



⏱️✨ Self check-in is completely time-flexible – arrive whenever it suits you.



🚗 Parking:

We provide a free parking card for the large public parking area directly next to the property.



🚃 Arrival by public transport:

Via Interlaken West, you can take bus no. 60 directly to the stop “Därligen Dorf.” From there, it’s only a 3–5 minute walk (approx. 350 m) to the apartment.

Interlaken and the entire Jungfrau region are practically right on your doorstep – perfect for all kinds of excursions 🏔️



🚶 Finding us: The property is the former «Du Lac» resort – there is no hotel and no reception. From the large car park, walk underneath the building through the passage; don't follow the road towards the large building that looks like a hotel. Address for the apartment: Dorfstrasse 78 B. For navigation to the car park use Dorfstrasse 74.



🧳 Early arrival:

Early check-in is often not possible. If you arrive earlier, you can conveniently store your luggage in the lockers at Interlaken West train station – so you can start your day relaxed 🔒😊



The Neighborhood:

Our four Därligen apartments are located in the quiet lakeside village of Därligen – perfect for guests who want to be close to Interlaken but prefer a calm, relaxed setting away from the crowds.



🌿 Nature & tranquility:

Located directly on Lake Thun and surrounded by mountains – ideal for unwinding, walking, and enjoying the scenery.



🌊 Lake & leisure:

The lakeside lawn and swimming spot are about 100 m away, just under the pedestrian bridge – perfect for a morning swim.



🏞️ Ideal base:

Interlaken, the gateway to the Jungfrau region, is only a few minutes away and offers easy access to highlights such as Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Mürren, Wengen, Harder Kulm, and many more.



Getting Around:

The location is ideal for flexible travel by car or public transport.

Whether lakes, valleys, mountain railways, or excursion destinations – everything is within easy reach, making SURFERSHOME the perfect base for exploring Lake Thun and the Jungfrau region.

⚠️ No elevator in the building, 2 flights of stairs

⚠️ Nearby railway line – light noise possible

⚠️ No guest card available in Därligen

⚠️ No air conditioning – a tower fan is provided, and the lake cools the air noticeably at night

⚠️ No washing machine – self-service laundry in Interlaken

⚠️ The studio is compact: with the travel cot set up, there is very little floor space left. Great for a couple with a baby who travel light – but please picture it before you book.

We give you your space, but we’re always here for you! 😊



🔹 Before your arrival:

You’ll receive all important information for online check-in 3 days before arrival.

Once completed, you’ll receive your personal access code for the apartment.



🔹 On arrival day: In the morning we'll send you navigation, videos and the exact address – everything you need before you set off. Your personal access code follows about 1 hour before check-in.



🔹 During your stay:

If you have any questions, you can reach us anytime via the app’s messaging system.

We respond quickly and prefer written communication to avoid language barriers.
