"Loved the heritage of the convent, the spaciousness of the accommodation, the beautiful garden, the location near Leura, the kitchen and the homeliness of the rooms with everything you could need, including a good library of books! Very comfortable. Downsides were the noise from the highway and the railway that had traffic and trains going all night. We had hoped for a quiet location. "

The homestead “Glen Isla” was equally as wonderful and had such attention to detail with the charm of a beautiful historic and lovingly restored home. There was nothing one could want for- everything was there and more! The hosts had auch attention to detail and thoughtfulness to make the stay truly special and memorable. "Perfect, cosy cottage for a weekend away with my partner. Walking trails at the end of the laneway, sunset from the front deck, fireplace for cool nights. Superbly equipped kitchen with supplies for breakfast, great coffee maker too. A very comfortable weekend away"
