"The place is indeed spacious and we had a great time mucking about in the river. There is no air conditioner, but it wasn't too bad since it cooled at night and we were out and about most days. It's conveniently located across a general store and next to a restaurant/bar and just a five minute ride to Pinecrest Lake.It is a little bit dated, but it does have most of what you need and you just can't beat the location."

Easy access to Pinecrest Lake- the reason for our trip!"

This was perfect. Lots of space and outdoor areas to explore far enough away from the highway. It's a short hike up to the house but just reframe as a workout and it does the trick. We'll definitely stay here again."

"We stayed at the Granite Cabin for a Father’s Day family get together. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Although close to the highway, traffic noise was limited during the day and quiet at night. Strawberry is a nice corner of the Sierra Nevada. Plan on cooking your meals early in the week as local restaurants are closed. We likely will stay at the cabin again. "

"This was a great house for 2 families to stay in (4 adults, 4 kids) for Leland Snowplay. Was 5 minute walk away so we could go tubing, come back for lunch at the house, then go back to tubing. The location, near Long Barn, was very useful for access to local skiing, and it wasn't difficult to get in or out of (just be aware that the driveway is steep and relatively short in case you have more than one vehicle).
