The Lilac Cottage

Dating from the seventeenth century, the Moulin de Dannemarie is a building full of character. The garden is splendid. The Opton river flows under the Mill, giving it an undeniable charm: An exceptional experience to reconnect with nature, and the charms of the countryside.
In the 90's we undertook to renovate the buildings of the Moulin de Dannemarie farm to make them very pleasant cottages for furnished rental.
ATTENTION: The swimming pool is in working order, renovated, protected and heated
The accommodation
The Lilac Cottage, is a duplex for 4 people (ideal for 1 couple and 2 children). Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and the shower room. On the first floor, the living room, with its small American kitchen, is spacious and family-friendly. In front of this cottage is a very pretty flower garden, where it is good to stay (BBQ / deckchair) – the opportunity to reconnect with nature.
Traveler access
You can enjoy the garden, go and watch the sheep, the hens and the singing roosters. For small children, there is a playground available, with a trampoline.
The garden of the Mill spreads over about 1 ha, and it is very nicely landscaped.
Other remarks
GOOD IDEA: The 3 cottages - Primevère, Rose-Hollyhock, and Lilac are adjoining and can be booked together.

Please note that this apartment has no elevator, so there is a beautiful winding staircase to access the 1st floor of the apartment.
