"The layout of this house is nice. Master bedroom on one end with two back to back in the other with living and kitchen in the middle. Unfortunately, this house has not been maintained. No working fire detectors in the entire home, and only one actually had batteries installed but found to be defective. Very bad water pressure and minimal hot water. We spend 10 days and a total of possible 10mins worth of sporadic hot water. Expect cold showers. The house was dirty on arrival: uncleaned...

"Wonderful location. Beautiful views of the ocean. Very friendly neighbors. Very clean. Owners are very helpful and communicate quickly. The only downside was not knowing we had to pay extra for the AC, which is very much needed.. Would have neen helpful to have that in the listing."

"The property is absolutely stunning with a nice sandy beach & plenty of room for the kids to sports. Many places to hang a hammock that you could buy in town. This property is very remote and extremely quiet! I would highly recommend having a rental vehicle. Publics is the closest, cleanest, best place to shop and is 20 mins south. Mings is right in Placencia 30 min south and had some things we could not find at Publics. There is a health store in Placencia that had a few Vegan/vegetarian...

"It was easy to reserve this house in Hopkins in mid-July and we drove straight to it thanks to thorough directions from the house manager because there is no house number. The house manager lives nearby and she communicated regularly and was very accessible. Although the roof has a great view of the town of Hopkins, there is no roof awning or umbrella to protect one from the sun so it is a sun bathing experience!"

"Gorgeous property, but.. needs a little maintenance. Broken window, TV could not connect with any type of service, cold water only. Now that sounds terrible, right? Not so much!
