"The only recommendation would be for the Japanese restaurant to use less garlic when making the fried rice.
The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet offered a large variety of choices-fresh and delicious.
We recommend a stay in an ocean view suite for couples who plan to visit. It offered an outdoor soak tub to allow one to watch the sun set into the sea.

"Perfect stay in Mt Kinabalu. The house we stayed is cosy and very convenient for visiting the Mt Kinabalu Park as it’s situated inside the park. There is heater in the house which makes is super great in the rainy cold days in the mountain. Facilities are great. There is movie channel for visitors to enjoy !"
"We were a group of nature lovers who were using this as a three night stay to get used to the temperature and time change upon arrival in Borneo. Loved the grounds and snorkeling right from the beach. Fantastic nature center staffed by several biologists. The food options were a bit pricey but we were expecting that. The grounds were very birdy and we found two Borean Pit Vipers. The mangrove tour was fantastic. Room is very good quality for the price."

On arrival James and Felix gave us a lovely welcome & explained where everything could be found, we received a room upgrade with a sea view & balcony as they are completing works / upgrades to the restaurant & rooms. "A primeira estadia por lá foi ok, meu quarto tinha vista para o mar, na segunda estadia fiquei num quoarto muito ruim com janela pro corredor com muito barulho durante a noite de movimento de pessoas, durmi muito mal. Então quarto com janela pro corredor é terrível."
