We have stayed at this hotel at least 3-4 times it was my all-time favorite hotel because of beds, housekeeping and space. Up until this last stay when the young man who was the breakfast server Edwin decided to ignore us over and over again and over. Even after a hand wave and smile from my husband for service. My husband then walked up and politely said as he reached for the menus that the young man placed down after my husband waved him down “I guess I have to come get our own menus since you choose to ignore us” and the young man Edwin smiled & walked back to the kitchen. This was a very sad day for me because I had never experienced such discrimination before over wearing a cross. I mean, we do live in America and Texas but to be discriminated & then to be called a liar by the main manager. Yep, I kept all the emails, & a letters. Yes, I got an apology letter after I had to go through several messages back-and-forth, and the this young man who supposedly wrote this letter, was obviously the manager, and not the actual server that was so obvious. If the young man was truly sorry then the next day when we were leaving…yes, he clearly seen us walking by restaurant he would of come up to us and apologized, but he avoided eye contact, which I tried to gain with him by looking over straight into his face, and he avoided looking at me. It was so obvious & so sad because of that I knew that we would not ever be going back to this hotel again. Such a sad experience.
