Upscale cottage on a farm in the middle of the city. Six miles to DFW airport.

Quiet high-end cottage surrounded by mature trees and picturesque pastures on a completely private farm. Yet, you are minutes from grocery stores and shopping and walking distance to a Tex-Mex restaurant.
Beautifully furnished private stone home with a large cook’s kitchen, laundry room, comfortable living room with two couches, dining space, dedicated work space, separate well-appointed bedroom with gorgeous outside views from your bed, full bath with brand-new fixtures including a large walk-in shower. The cottage has loads of natural light from the many large wood windows where bobcat, coyote, bunnies, peacocks, and farm animals often wander by.
You have access to an acre of outdoor dining and relaxing areas.
Included with you stay are complementary fresh eggs and honey both produced on the farm.

Beautiful stay! We loved how secluded it is while still being in the midst of everything. We enjoyed meals on the back patio while watching the animals graze, long walks and quiet evenings. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay as well. We highly recommend for couples looking for a nice little getaway or if you’re in DFW for work and want some quiet away from the chaos. This is the spot!

John was a wonderful host, very responsive and kind! The space was absolutely immaculate, we loved the local honey on the counter and though we don’t get to use them the farm fresh eggs were a thoughtful touch. We were so impressed at this peaceful little slice of heaven tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Our only regret was that we weren’t able to stay longer. We would definitely stay again in the future!

This was such a great stay for us! It was clean, easy to check-in/check out, hosts we beyond easy to deal with-highly recommend! The peacocks, sheep, pony and fresh eggs really were a bonus-beyond recommend.

The cottage was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! It was such a great experience to have the farm living, but literally be feet away from shops. I recommend you reserve this property if you need to stay with the DFW area!

HIGHLY recommend this cottage!! You'd never know that it is right off a busy street. It's so quiet, peaceful and the cottage itself is super cute! Their farm honey is FANTASTIC!!!! The host is very attentive to any requests/questions.

Of the dozens of places that I have stayed at, this was probably my favorite property. The location is amazing. The house feels like it is in the middle of a rural farming community, but it's 1/4 mile from the centre of a big city. The home is clean, charming and well equipped. The owners live close by and were very accommodating. If you plan to visit the Dallas area, this is definitely the place to stay.

Stayed 10 days while my house was going on the market, having Open Houses, etc. I had a lovely retreat at “the farm” while all that was going on! My daughter, who goes to college nearby and joined me for the weekend, also found time here restorative. There are great restaurants nearby but I mostly enjoyed making simple meals in the well stocked kitchen. I preferred spending as much time as possible enjoying the solitude and beauty of the place. Also, fresh eggs and honey from the farm are tasty perks indeed! Loved sitting on the back porch with a book. John is an excellent host!

This property is a jewel in the middle of a city. It has acreage, animals, awesome trees and honeybees. Easily accessible to restaurants, or cook in a well-stocked kitchen.Perfect cottage feel, super clean, farmhouse decor, great wifi, comfy bed and a great back porch that looks out on their critters, chickens and horses. Easy access to Dallas.The host are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Loved my stay here.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was the perfect getaway for our family. The house was cozy and beautiful inside. We enjoyed making farm fresh eggs for breakfast. The outside space was relaxing and the farm animals were so much fun to watch. We loved reading outside on the back patio. The host family was so kind to chat with us, answer all our questions about the animals, and even allowed our kiddos to feed the pony and the goats. We are already looking at going back again soon! It’s a terrific little place you won’t be disappointed!

Everything was SO great! There were also a horse, goats, dogs, and chickens! The view all around was beautiful and the house was also just as beautiful. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, decorations throughout were very well thought out and looked great! We actually had our car battery die and John offered to help and even let us extend for a bit! John also was there to answer any question I had in a very prompt manner. If I could give it a 10/10, I would!

The best little get away! The host is so attentive to details and very communicative. They were so gracious to allows to use the space for a unique need. Oh and the views of the pasture and animals in the back were such a pleasure. I highly recommend this space!
