In the surrounding area, over 120km of hiking trails invite visitors to have an active holiday. The local Mineral Museum is interesting and worth a visit. The location of Dachsberg-Urberg at the border triangle Germany/France/Switzerland is ideal for day excursions to Alsace, Switzerland or Lake Constance. Freiburg with its world famous cathedral is only 65km away.
