"When I arrived at 6 PM, the staff was busy, but I got in within a reasonable amount of time and they checked me in. The room is beautiful, and I love the decor. The bed slept really well and having a high-tech shower was great. Everything was so spacious and well laid out. "The room itself was fine. All I needed was a bed , tv and shower. It just was real old and dirty, and broken. My room smelled like smoke (cigarettes) so I asked the front desk to please get me a new room. He was very sweet and accommodating, but the second room he showed me, smelled even worse. After looking for other rooms online in a 20 mile radius, I decided I would just stay and make the best of it. There’s mold in the shower ceiling, many dents and knicks in the walls. "My room was fine - When I booked I must have selected accessible, not sure why I chose that. When I arrived to my room, the bed didn't have a box spring (in order to make it accessible). But nothing else was adjusted accordingly (the headboard wasn't lowered, tv wasn't lowered...) Very uncomfortable to try to watch tv, and the bed was surprisingly not comfortable either. Again, my error in booking an accessible room, but the changes didn't seem very mindful of people who might actually need the...

"This is a delightful, historic hotel. We had a twin room. It was very small but, quaint. Antique furnishings and beautiful wood carver headboards. I would have preferred a firmer bed. The lobby area is filled with antique furnishings. It’s also right on the same block as restaurants, shopping and the river runs right along the side. Loved the town of Marietta."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The only thing negative we noticed was the dirty windows. I know the third floor was being remodeled, but why would the windows everywhere else be so dirty? All in all, a great price and comfortable stay."

The covers had cigarette burns and the whole place just smell like cigarettes even though I got a non-smoking room I booked a room with a single king bed and they changed it to a room with two full beds instead"
