It is also well situated for heading out for day trips to explore many of the recreational and scenic locations in the region. Beginning each day with coffee on the porch and relaxing with cocktails while watching the sunset was extra special too."

"The cottage was perfect for a quick visit. Upon arrival, the place was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Internet speed was excellent. Loved the fire pit by the lake! Unfortunately did not have time to fish. Location is perfect to access several UP attractions. Highly recommend!"

Excellent communication with the owner. Was very accommodating with rescheduling our trip. Definitely on our list for a return trip."

"Host could have at least provided water of some sort. Smelled musty, no dishes or utensils not even cups for coffee, if I wanted to do dishes couldn't even do that as there was not kitchen towels or wash cloths provided. Fire pit but no wood. I'm not sure what a cleaning fee is for. There is nothing to clean. Beds are just mattresses on floor with fitted sheet. Overall 0 stars"

"Our family of 4 stayed at this house for a short getaway to ride the trails around Newberry. The location has easy access to the trails by sled, as well as a gas station. Being in town, restaurants and grocery stores are nearby and available. The way the driveway is situated makes it easy to pull your trailer in for loading and unloading your equipment. The house was cozy and there was a nice mud room off the back for all your gear. The host was responsive and accommodating. We would stay here...

"We loved our stay!! We came up for along weekend and first impression was it is the perfect spot and then we walked in and it seriously felt like home. The master bedroom has the perfect view of the water. Nice waterfront property and you’re not on top of your neighbors! The boys had a good time fishing and the girls relaxed by the fire pit. "Good accommodations for the price. We used this house as a base for road trips each day so we were only there to sleep. Well stocked with supplies and kitchen needs. The attic bedrooms were very hot but we made do with the multiple fans provided. The house had a "rustic/cabin" atmosphere. NOTE: The toilet in the front bathroom leaks leaving a wet floor."
