The house has a large outdoor terrace deck with breathtaking views, the best place for dining, reading, practicing yoga or simply catching a wonderful nap with the constant Caribbean breeze. The decks are the top feature to watch the boats sail by, feel the breeze, admire the stars.

Culebra is accessible from the San Juan International Airport and Isla Grande Airport via Air Flamenco and Vieques Air Link. Isla Grande Airport is a 10 minute cab ride from the International Airport but the flights are more affordable. An alternate method of travel is to take the ferry out of Fajardo.

It is important to reserve your jeep or golf cart vehicle early ā€“ For Jeep and Golf Cart rental find Carlos Jeep Rental and Jerry's Jeeps. Both are great business owned by Culebra Locals.

Culebra is known to those who cherish it as "The Spanish Virgin Island". It is a US TERRITORY, a tiny unspoiled treasure of the Caribbean.

The island provides great opportunities for turtle watching, sailing, snorkeling, diving, surfing, flats and off shore fishing, sea kayaking, bird watching, and hiking. You will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.

Search for FLAMENCO Beach on the web, it's been rated 3rd within the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. ZONI Beach is a 2 mile beach with white sand, season turtle nesting and blue waters. The coral formations around the pristine shoreline and the surrounding Cays make up an underwater forest of uncompromising beauty and adventure.

Culebra also offers smaller off islands that are officially part of Culebra; Culebrita Island and Luis PeƱa Cay are two undeveloped treasures designated as wildlife reserves.

Due to remote location WiFi can only be obtained satellite serviced occasionally can be disrupted due to faulty weather or else.

We had a wonderful Mother Daughter trip to Culebra. The house location was perfect. It was very quiet and comfortable. 1 mile to the little town with restaurants and grocery store. Short drive to all the gorgeous beaches.

My friends and I loved this place so much. We had good privacy and felt safe. Waking up and having coffee on the balcony was my favorite part. I will point out that one of the two showers was not usable for us as the water pressure was nonexistent. Apparently this is common throughout the island during busier seasons. We had to share one shower between 4 of us, which was fine, but worth the mention.

Punta Aloe 20 is a nice split-level, beach-style villa with floor to ceiling windows and great views of the water from the spacious deck and main room. The two bedrooms on the top-level have mini-AC splits that cool them well. The rest of the villa is dependent on the ā€œnatural air conditioningā€ of cross ventilation. As previous guests have mentioned, the small biting mosquitoes can be a problem due to the lack of window screens on the main floor. We also had problems with water pressure throughout our stay. Our hosts suggested that this may be due to roadwork, though we saw no evidence of this. Still, all-in-all this was a good stay at a bargain price for a five-night stay.

As noted in the stars, the location was nice! Serene, not too much traffic, the deck has just a gorgeous and relaxing view! Perfect for watching sunrise!The house itself is basic. One step up from camping, kitchen cooking implements are cheap and basic but at least there were some there! Water pressure is frustrating for showers (might be an island thing, tho). Bed sheets were nice and clean, but scratchy on sunburned & bug bitten skin. The lack of screens on most of the windows was frustrating because I LOVE outdoor breeze and hearing all the frogs and singing insects. But due to mosquitoes and other biting insects, we had to turn on the A/C at nigh. That said, the a/c in the bedrooms worked really well! We had a small hiccup with the VRBO app not sending the hostsā€™ directions for check-in. Check-in is at 4:00p, but we didnā€™t receive the info via VRBO until after 5:00p. But maybe that is also an island thing??

Very relaxing, quiet and restful. Fun base to explore the island from. Will need a vehicle to get around. Views are fantastic. Given the climate, pack in zippered bags and keep your suitcase closed to prevent unwanted stowaways home. Recommend bringing another hammock if you want 2 hammocks to enjoy the deck from. Unfortunately there are no beach towels, beach chairs, hand towels or wash clothes provided. There is a reverse osmosis system that we greatly appreciated. Keep in mind when you book there is a significant fee per person added to the price of booking beyond 2 people. Again, the view was amazing and as pictured. Only one hammock though.

My family and I had a terrible experience there was no air in the kitchen, living room, the keys to come in is rusty and the door wouldnā€™t lock so the door had to be left open and the wind would open it. Super unsafe we had to sleep with the door unlocked. The AC in the rooms you either froze from how cold or you would have a heat stroke no in between. They were animals everywhere. The owner also charges you whatever he wants after you leave the property without permission. Horrible place do not stay here. Waste of money horrible experience

We had a great time here staying for 5 nights. Culebra is magical but it is remote and you can sense that throughout your time on the island. The property is great and has everything you need to have a good time. The constant ocean breeze and views will make up for anything ! Will definitely return

It's a fine apartment with room enough for our family of four (2 adults and two older teens). It could easily have slept another 3 or 4. It's not a luxury condo but a wooden house with open beams and stairway, and a deck where we spent most of our time. It's not slick and sleek and new, but perfectly functional and clean, airy and bright and cool (ac in bedrooms for sleeping). Convenient to everything (especially with a rented golf cart), The kitchen was good enough (though more than one pan for the oven would be useful). Peaceful, relaxing, perfect vacation getaway. Go for a walk after dark one evening--the stars are not to be missed!

Great location just far enough from main area to be quiet. Bed was great. Decks have amazing views. Some things it needed: Beach towels, beach chairs, any type of cooler, blender. Those are pretty common things that really should go with beach /island houseā€¦.at least everyone weā€™ve stayed at. Over all great experience. Will be back to Culebra again.

Gorgeous private deck with an entrancing view; the hammocks are lovely! Be forewarned about the terrible Wi-Fi, though, on the few days it was working, it had such low signal it would just disconnect, making remote work nearly impossible and using lots of data. So bring a good book, enjoy grilling and lounging on this breezy balcony!

From booking to arrival, Fede made sure everything went well. The views from the deck are absolutely marvelous. Watch the ferries and boats of all kinds come in and out of the Honda. Cooking was easy in the kitchen and you can enjoy the views while cooking!

Our stay here was very nice! My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon. Everything seemed to be functional and clean, we did not use the kitchen too much but there were plenty of glasses, plates, etc. and the pots and pans looked good as well (although we didn't cook while we were here). Had issues with the wifi, but it sounds like these are temporary and Fede was able to help us find an alternate solution. Really, really nice view off the porch, especially for the sunrise. The only thing I wish is that VRBO had properly marked the address on the map -- for some reason, it showed the property as being a lot closer to town. This place is on Playa Sardinas II, a good hike from town! But it is a really pretty part of the island!! Definitely strongly recommend this property if you are staying on Culebra.

The balcony is the strong point of the property with amazing relaxing views. Two main bedrooms were well appointed. Some things that I would warn people of are listed next but would not prevent me from returning to property. There are no screens on the living room/kitchen/dining areas and no AC in those areas but owner provided fans upon request to help with bugs. Mosquitoes did drive us out of those areas when the winds were still but bug spray and AC in bedrooms helped. Bathrooms did not allow toilet paper to be flushed. Drive way is steep but that is common in area. The laundry mentioned is an offsite business.

Great house! Huge patio with an amazing view. It has enough chairs and space to have a group of 10 to sit outside on the patio and relax with friends. Don't rent Jeeps when you are on Culebra, there not really enough parking for two Jeeps. Rent golf carts, that's all you need.
