Luxury Hide Away in Ostional w/Pool & Ocean Views
Located in the beautiful gated community, Perla de Ostional, this luxury home has all the amenities you could want with amazing ocean and valley views. This home comes complete with a large sun deck, and a pool. Situated on the top of a hill, the ocean views from the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms are breathtaking, especially at sunset.
The space
The main house has 2 master bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom and walking dressing both equipped with AC. Then there is also a smaller bedroom with 1 single bed (with double bed extension - Trundle Bed) BUT NO AC and a fourth bedroom with AC, bathroom and walking dressing in a separate building next to the pool. A perfect place for large family vacations or reunions but also for longer-term stays. The construction is complete with beautiful, local hardwoods all over the house, from the kitchen to the vaulted ceilings and high-end local wood furnishings. With plenty of deck space, you'll have to see this one for yourself at sunset with a drink in hand.
Where you’ll be:
Ostional, Provincia de Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
This is one of only a couple of rental houses in the growing beach community of Ostional. Ostional Beach is a national refuge and home to the thousands of Olive Ridley Turtles that will come ashore to bury their eggs during full moon periods at certain times of the year. The house is within walking distance to Ostional beach, just a 5-minute walk perfect for surfers. Also a great beach for the advanced surfer. Please Note: the house is located further out of Nosara/Guiones (about a 20min drive)
Getting around:
We highly recommend a car to easily explore the area and to close by located Nosara, Playa Pelada, and Playa Guiones (about a 20min drive). Most of the roads in and around Ostional are dirt roads so a 4x4 will offer more comfort and is more necessary during the wet season.

No AC in the living room and the room with a single (& trundle bed).

The property manager is available daily from 8 am to 5 pm and 5 pm to 8 am only for emergencies

While Costa Rica does have many of the conveniences you are accustomed to having at home, navigating a foreign country can feel a bit tricky. For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.
Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card.
Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.
Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.
