"I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

"This is a great property if you are looking for a private, quiet and relaxing stay in the woods! They had everything we needed and then some. The hosts are very responsive. I especially liked that it was pet friendly. Easy to get to west Jefferson, Lansing, Grayson Highlands State Park & more. Would stay again! "

Before check-in we went out kayaking from Riverside Canoe and check-in was smooth, the cottage smelled fresh and was nice and cool on a hot summer day.We enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out on the front porch in the rocking chairs, an all around super relaxing visit. It is tiny but the layout is great, we had 3 adults and a large dog and didn't feel cramped at all."
