"You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing."

"My husband and I spent 2 nights at this lovely home. It had everything we needed. It would be great for a family. The downstairs has 2 Bedrooms but we didn’t even go down there except to peek."

"Very well equipped, clean, and convenient to walk to restaurants and downtown. Nice landscaping in a traditional brick charmer!! Both bedrooms are equally suited so if traveling with two couples no "tossing a coin" for the better bedroom or bath. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend and when visiting West Jefferson would certainly consider this a great option."

"The place was amazing! Nice, quiet getaway for my husband, daughter, dog and myself. It wa quiet with the sound of nature. We enjoyed the patio watching the cows and deer during the day while at night listening to the sounds of the frogs. The beds were super comfortable and all the amenities of home away from home. "We had such an outstanding trip to Buffalo Cottage. The house was immaculate and everything we needed and then some was there! It was a good place to stay because so many things are within driving distance. West Jefferson, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Valle Crusis.
