I typically read reviews prior to booking - this made me feel like friends / family made a bunch of 5 star reviews. I will absolutely agree with other reviews that the lady in the office is super friendly and helpful. We walked into our room, made it to the bathroom counter where a roach was crawling around the counter. Just to be sure I wasn’t over reacting, I used Google Lens to search a picture of the bug which confirmed it was a German cockroach. The lady in the office was understanding of our leaving and approved a full refund. If the room was as great as her customer service, that would have been a fabulous place to stay.

Front desk person was amazing. Check in went smooth. We had an issue with our first room, and were moved right away. Was quiet and room was decent.

The check in staff is excellent. She is very friendly and sweet person. We love when we stay there. She knows exactly what area we want to be in at the hotel and everything. It is so helpful to get us there.

Price I like, needed painting bad and had a terrible smell about it. The bed must of been used by the Flintstones it was so hard and sheets stained.

It was right off the highway and easy to find. There were a few potholes in the entrance because the Google Maps app took us the wrong way. The place was clean and quiet and the employees were easy to work with. All was good.

The property is beautiful with the growing plants. I really enjoyed that. Front desk was kind. I remember her from a previous stay.

I had to switch rooms due to there being holes all in the bedding and it being dirty. The 2nd room was not much better. Toilet paper was shoved in the peep hole, there was pubic hairs on the floor and the mattress was the MOST uncomfortable i have ever seen. There was no mattress protector on it either. I felt like i was going to leave there with bed bugs. I opted to check out and stay at another hotel. The lady working the front desk was nice and very helpful.

Hi Michele,I hate that this is what you experienced. We have been working with our housekeepers and staff to make sure all our rooms are worthy of our guests that stay with us. We appreciate the feedback good or bad it will always help to know where we may need to work harder. We really do hope that next time you may be in Crossville for the night that you will give us one more chance for you to stay in one of our rooms that are 100% to the standards we hold all staff to follow. We have made a lot of changes since your stay. I also appreciate your kindness considering your frustration as well.Thank you

low expectations will help
For the price, it is not bad. The bed was super hard but it worked. There is no carpet or even a rug by the door and since there was a lot of snow, it was hard to keep things clean. we had to use the towel. Towels were thin and small. But the heater worked well and there wasn't much noise. There is no breakfast, just coffee. They are pet friendly which is a good thing for us also.

Cable tv was jerked out the wall no tv didnt get in the room till midnight didnt see it earlier just need to make sure that tv is operational room really neat and clean great shower just no tv

Room reeked of smoke but was a non smoking room. Toilet seat had glue on it, plug next to bed was halfway out the wall. These are just a few things. Plus my clothes in my suitcase smelled like smoke the next morning.

Liked having a smoking room, would have been nice to have a place to hang up clothes and even better more than just 2 bath towels. I myself use 2 towels (1 for body, 1 for hair) and then there’s my husband. And why 3 pillows and not 4 on a king size bed??? Very strange

Our hotel sucked!!! One towel and one rag per person. Ice bucket and two cups. Nothing else included in the room, no coffee machine, no hair dryer, I’m talking absolutely no extra anything. The two bars of soap they had, you needed scissors to open, was almost like it had baking soda in it…gritty. The two small pouches of shampoo had the same “I DARE YOU TO OPEN ME” packing. You don’t even want me to get started on their lack of bed comfort. This couldn’t have been a mattress, it had to be a box spring hidden with a sheet! I know that I might be considered a pampered woman, but come on this was horrible! The only good thing about the room was that it was clean, but other than that, just say no!
