"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"What a beautiful place. Everything you need is provided in apartment. So near the center and all shops. Sat outside on balcony watching all the wildlife (Ducks,Heron etc). The hosts are so welcoming and contact is swift. highly recommended."

Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"We stayed on December with snowy days, Magical. Wonderful site great help from the owners. Pod is a one off and all you expect. We took advantage of the fire and hot shower. "Lovely cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings Steph and David are wonderful hosts , full of local knowledge , welcoming and so friendly - feel like we’ve known them forever .
