"We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. It has a well-stocked kitchen and Jilly had left delicious homemade marmalade and muesli which we were very grateful for, not to mention the bottles of wine and a local ale! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and everything is really well considered. It has a lovely fireplace with more than ample wood...

"Visited in June with 2 girlfriends for 50th birthday trip. The cottage was perfect for our needs. We each had our own bedroom. One definitely needs to be nimble enough to manage the staircase and the low ceilings on the top floor but we had no issues. The host was quick to respond to any questions/needs. The amenities were excellent - record player, fully furnished kitchen and the lovely outdoor seating area in back. We had morning tea & coffee out there and wine in the evenings. Location...

"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. "The first house we were supposed to stay in looked great however it had no internet. With one pre teen and a teenager this is very much a deal breaker. They offered us a similar house but not quite as big. All was good. Then we woke up on the first morning to find ants in the kitchen, they'd got into some of the food we bought. As compensation we were offered a 100 credit and a game of bowling. Most of the staff were great."
