"The leisure centre was great. The swimming pool was clean, although the water could have been just slightly cooler. Happy hour in the bar Sunday to Thursday was a pleasantry, with £3 beers. The hotel is in a great location and close to lots of good value restaurants. Hotel staff were very helpful."

"I was very happy with my stay. I was here for a run. I had a nice meal which was needed. I was particularly impressed at guest laundry at no extra cost. The staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for a small extension to my check out time and this was not a problem. This was extremely helpful as it enabled me to change after my run. I would definitely stay here again"

"Great location near the seafront and good value for money. I had somehow missed the fact that check-in was only up to 8pm and was half an hour late. Luckily the hotel phoned to check up on me and I wasn't too far away. Even though they had to wait for me, I still received a very warm welcome. I was only in the area overnight before a race the next day but I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very comfy beds. Clean, light room and friendly staff. Tea and coffee available in the room . The karioke downstairs stopped at 11pm which was fine and we slept well. We could have done with some towel hooks or a rail and a few instructions like how to turn on the radiator and what to do with the key when we left ( we worked those things out in the end !)"

"We stayed in room5 top floor 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed for 1. Bedding and towels were new and fresh. Bathrooms were spotless. Small fridge, kettle , toaster and microwave all look new . Coffee /tea complimentary. TV in lounge . We were visiting family so needed somewhere local and pet friendly. "A really lovely quiet hotel, there arent many in the area. All very clean, lovely bedroom and superb breakfast with a friendly smile. Checkin was smooth and the lady was really friendly and showed me to my room and also served me a few well poured guinness later that evening. Thank you i will certainly stay again. They didn't serve an evening meal but plenty of options not too far away."

"Was there for one night for work. Crack in side of bath, kitchen had very basic utensils.the apartment stank of cigarette smoke . Was only there as hotels were shut so wasn't expecting the lap of luxury but it was way below standard for money."

"The property was ideal for our group. The beds were good and comfortable. Everything we needed was present. Our only criticisms were that the front door was difficult to lock and open and the bathroom window could not be locked. These are very minor observations. Before our arrival someone had removed the cover from the boiler. This did not affect its use or performance."
