The King Davis House welcomes our guests. This is a family-owned home and was one of the first homes built on Mt. Crested Butte. It is very warm, comfortable and inviting. But, don't take our word for it, look at the reviews and our photos! We have lots of return guests after they've stayed at the King Davis House. Some people have even nicknamed it "The Moose House" because of our Canadian Moose named Fred that livens up the living room. The fully equipped 5,000 square foot house sleeps 12 people in 5 bedrooms; featuring dual primary suites, one is upstairs and the other is downstairs. There are 4.5 bathrooms, 2 decks and a 2 car garage. There is parking for 8 total vehicles in the driveway and garage. It is ideal for large groups or families that like to be together but also like to have their own private bedroom suite for privacy. Read about each room on our listing.

When you walk in the front door there is plenty of space to have a seat, kick of your shoes, hang your coats, hoodies & jackets, store your ski boots and skis in the spacious entry hall. The upper floor is an open floor plan with plenty of different seating areas and a pool table. The living room has a large, wood-burning fireplace. Wood is provided as part of the rental. We are pretty sure you will be amazed at the 180-degree views of Mt. Crested Butte and the surrounding mountains from the windows that runs from the kitchen to the living room. You'll immediately want to go out on the deck to grab photos of the beauty surrounding the house. When you're ready to come back inside, get comfy on the new leather sectional sofa (not pictured. purchased in Summer 2024) and watch a movie or anything on TV with cable. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could need to prepare a feast or just make a sandwich. It is open to the living area and the dining room is attached to the kitchen. The dining table can accommodate 10 and there are 2 barstools on the peninsula for extra seating. We would love to have you stay at the King Davis House!
