The Space:

Experience the perfect mountain getaway in this upscale home located just four miles from Crested Butte. The ground floor features a versatile guest room with a twin over double bunk bed, a dedicated desk, and generous closet space, served by a full bathroom with a bathtub down the hall. Also on this level is a queen guest bedroom with an ensuite shower bathroom and a walk in closet. The hallway includes a beverage refrigerator, a collection of board games, and extra storage. A large mudroom and laundry area provide convenience, alongside a two car garage. Upstairs, the open concept living area is bathed in natural light and offers stunning mountain views. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sectional, an electric fireplace, and a smart TV. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, an expansive island with seating for four, and a dining table for six. A dedicated workspace is available for your convenience. The primary suite, located off the kitchen, features a king size bed, a walk in closet, and a luxurious bathroom with a double vanity, a large shower, and a private toilet room. Step outside to enjoy the private hot tub and gas fire pit, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.

The Neighborhood:

The Buckhorn residential community is located near the Skyland Golf Course off of Brush Creek Road, roughly four miles from downtown Crested Butte. This newer subdivision is a great example of a development done “the right way”, and a tour of the area leaves a great first impression especially since it is flanked by Whetstone Mountain and the backside of Crested Butte Mountain. The hiking and biking opportunities in the Brush creek area are nearly endless, with national forest access a short distance away. The Robert Trent Jones Jr golf course at Skyland is just a short drive down the street. The town of Crested Butte is four miles away, and once about a mile out of the residential development, a recreation path makes biking or hiking into town a breeze. This same path is groomed in the winter, so you can Nordic ski into town as well. The skiing at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is roughly 15 minutes away during the winter months. No shuttles or bus service exists that services this neighborhood on a regular daily/hourly basis. Free tennis and pickleball courts and a playground are all amenities that Buckhorn offers guests.



Getting Around:

You will want a vehicle to get around. Additionally, there is a bus stop at the corner of Highway 135 and Brush Creek road about 2 miles from the house.
