WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is before 10 AM.
An off-site rental agreement is required with ID verification.
Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed at this property. If guest are caught with a pet, guests may be subject to an immediate cancellation without refund. If evidence is found after your stay, there will be a $150 penalty for rule violation.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
Guests not staying overnight are welcomed. Loud, disruptive parties are not.
BYO Beach Towels. We provide bath towels
Maximum 4 vehicles- ABSOLUTELY NO STREET PARKING.
No Boat Trailers allowed. Additional parking and/or trailer drop is located 10 minutes away at no cost.
BYO Life Vests HIGHLY encouraged to ensure proper size.
Firewood is available for purchase.

Quiet time

Weather was not good - rained 2 out of the 3 days. Overcast the rest of the time. But we had a good time catching up with friends. Wish you can leave some coat hangers in the guest room. Otherwise everything was great!

Nice house

The house and location to the water were great. The stairs to the loft are an accident waiting to happen in my opinion. We had the kids sleep on the couch and floor in the living room instead. The kayaks were enjoyed by everyone.

Perfect Birthday Weekend on the Lake!

We rented the lake house to have a space for me, my husband, and our friends to celebrate my birthday. My 6yo LOVED the bunk beds up in the loft area and we all appreciated the kayaks that were available to us! House was nice a clean and had essentially anything we needed when it came to appliances, dishes, and cookware. Upon arrival we did learn that the spray hose in the kitchen sink was stuck and spayed anytime we turned the water on. I immediately reach out that evening via email and Allison responded via text the next morning and the handyman was there by 9:30 to replace the spray nozzle! We did have a full house. We initially intended for an adult to sleep up in the loft, but it wasnt as comfortable for them to move up abd down the ladder to get to it, so I definitely recommend no more than 8 adults, unless your cool with climbing up and down a ladder at night to go to the bathroom. It was only a 8 minute drive to Pyramid Acres marina where we rented a pontoon from. It was fairly easy docking the boat at the house, just be mindful of the weeds. Also, the dock is maybe 4.5 - 5 ft deep with some big rocks below and around it. So be cautious when jumoing or diving off the dock. Overall, it was the perfect family and friend space for what we needed and i'm sure we'll be back!

Really neat place

We really enjoyed the stay. The house is a little dated and we were surprised when we figured out that the bunk room is accessed by a ladder basically but everything was great.

Hi, We enjoyed our stay and thought the location and facility were outstanding. However 1. Downstairs toilet was faulty. 2. The room never got above 62 F. 3. There were not enough coffee cups. Just so that you would know., Sincerely.

Long weekend with family

House and view are clean and lovey view of the lake. Kayaks provided were key point for our family so everyone could go out on the lake. Beds were comfortable. Great communication from host.

Amazing lakefront property

The home is even better than described. So many thoughtful details!! The use of the kayaks, paddle boards, and inflatables made our trip extra fun. We roasted marshmallows and told stories by the fire. State parks are just minutes away with wonderful hiking trails. Do not stress about booking here. Host is amazing and we will for sure return next summer.

Great place to get away

The house was very clean and the amenities listed were great. We had a question about the TV and the agent never got back to us. She did get back to us on another issue. Overall it was a great property and would recommend it.

Annual Family Lake Trip

We traveled from Georgia to Lake of Egypt for our family’s summer lake trip. The lake was beautiful!! We rented a boat from the local marina and were able to keep it right at the dock. Few hiccups in our stay…The information guide that the property management company sent listed the house as having a basement rec room w/ an extra kitchen which is a mistake and is a picture from another house. The house was spacious enough for our 7 family members (all adults) and While I understand that its just a “lake house” and that is where older furniture may be sent for its remaining days, it is time to replace the carpet upstairs and get new family room furniture if you want people to pay what you are asking for a week’s stay. I also had to clean out the pantry before being able to use it (cleaning team issue?) because it was full of debris from previous renters. I was also disappointed that the big water matt for the lake was ripped upon our arrival. There was an issue with the stove popping the curcuit breaker switch but the owner came out and said it was fine. We did enjoy our vacation time together and hope to visit the area again some day.

Our family enjoyed the location and lake! The older grandkids had fun fishing and swimming. The lily pad was awesome! The house had all that we needed. The deck and outdoor space were lovely.

Work Retreat

This was the perfect place for our workgroup retreat. Loved the open floor plan and view of the lake. I would highly recommend this place and we are looking forward to coming back.

Great stay!

The location was perfect, it was quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. It was nice to be on the lake in a quiet neighborhood. The home was clean and just as advertised. It was perfect for relaxing and cooking after a couple of hikes to see the fall leaves in the forest. We did have an issue with getting the wifi to work, but a quick phone call to Allison and we had it working in less than a minute. Management was very responsive. Also, the guidebook they email you was the best I’ve seen in any of the hiking trips we’ve taken. We weren’t hear to get on the lake, but there was a variety of kayaks and the like for those who might want to do that. I recommend this property strongly.
