This lovely river front one story 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located within the private gated community of Paradise Village. Our home sleeps 8 comfortably with two fold-out chairs in the sunroom!

Prepare your morning coffee and enjoy a peaceful start to your day on the fishing dock! Outdoor enthusiasts love taking their boat out for fishing, while fitness mavens enjoy the tennis facilities and jogging through the calm streets of Shell Point. As the sun sets, guests like to prepare delicious family dinners on our outdoor grill. Try to spot a shooting star beneath the sparkling night sky that this area offers!

In case of a rainy day, we have prepared board games and puzzles to keep your family occupied! And what’s better than a cup of hot chocolate, a big throw blanket and your favorite show? Enjoy a family movie night with our smart TV with Internet and streaming capabilities!

All pillows, linens, towels and cozy throw blankets are provided. The kitchen is fully supplied with cookware, bake-ware, small appliances, a microwave, and dishwasher. Washer and dryer are also available to our guests.

Things to do around Shell Point:

For the curious - Enjoy a day of windsurfing, sailing or kayaking alongside our community! Whether you like birdwatching or dolphin watching, there is something for everyone on this coast! Our house is also very close to St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, as well as Wakulla Springs!

For the sports enthusiasts - Challenge your friends to a tennis battle on our tennis courts on site!

For the guys - Bring your own boat and enjoy a well-deserved day of fishing with your buddies with direct access to the Gulf!

For the ladies - Stretch yourself out on the warm beach of Shell Point, enjoy the cool ocean breeze, and make sure you take in one of our serene sunsets, while collecting beautiful seashells!

A pre-authorization of USD 500.00 is due 1 days before arrival and released 5 days after departure

Wonderful Property

We rent in the village regularly but this was our first time at this property. This is a great rental for the price. You have a little of everything…ocean view, canal, dock, pool and beach access and all the amenities of home. The house: This property is an older trailer but renovated and beautifully decorated. We had the sleeping capacity max and were all comfortable. Everything worked and it was clean. The dock: The dock was important to us because we bought a boat. Also, no issues with the dock. It has a fish cleaning station which is a plus. Also, yard is large enough for trailer parking. The owners: We had no issues with the owners. We messaged several times with questions and got a quick response each time. The area: We love Shell Point and my family has been fishing here for over 50 years. This is a great family trip. You have the beach and pool for smaller children and the boating activities for the older kids and adults. We scalloped mainly, east of the lighthouse. But we also hung out on the sandbar, fished, drove the boat over to a restaurant, took the lighthouse tour, and did some skiing and tubing. But I don’t recommend skiing unless you REALLY know the area. Oyster bars, mud flats, and just shallow water are everywhere. We brought our bicycles and rode them to the beach and pool too. Negatives: The only negatives is that there is no marina at Shell Point. So be prepared for a quick trip into town for bait, fuel, and ice.

Great stay!

House was clean and neighborhood was quiet. The location was a little ways from places to eat, had to get groceries for the length of our stay. My husband and I were able to fish from the backyard.

We were very pleased with our decision to stay at Laughing Gull . Accommodations were spacious and comfortable But, we would have preferred having cable TV. The system required extra steps to use and did not provide live National programming.

Great house for family gathering

Our family enjoyed a wonderful four days at Laughing Gull house. The house has great spaces for meals and for hanging out watching sports or playing games. Pictures were all accurate; kitchen well stocked for meal preparation. We also loved having the empty lot next door as it provided a lot of privacy. Easy to let our small pup out to run, etc. Our family also enjoyed using the pickleball courts; and we kept our boat at the dock. We had a fabulous stay, and will plan to stay at this house again. Thank you!

Yearly Vacation

We stay in Shell Point every year during scallop season. The rental is absolutely beautiful with the most perfect view. It had everything my family needed. The dock provided easy access and the cul de sac provided the kids a place to ride their scooters. The house was equipped with everything needed. We can't wait to be back next year.

great vacation spot

this is not in a tourist area. it was a great area for just relaxing and enjoying time with family. we have a great view of the bay. the beach was very nice. our grand children really enjoyed the beach and playing in the sand. when we didn’t feel like going to the beach we relaxed at the cabin or went to the pool. yes, its a 30-45 minute drive if you want to go to the movies or a nice restaurant. but, it was worth it. we enjoyed it very much.

We really enjoyed our stay - Could have used more TP... We ran out. A longer water hose at the dock would be nice - I could not wash or rinse my boat with the one that is there. All in All - A very nice stay!

Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our stay at your place. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing from the dock as well as just sitting and watching the coastal birds. We watched the beautiful sunrise and moon rise. We are definitely planning another trip back.

Warm escape from snow to ride our Harleys

This place was perfect location near our friends to meet up and ride. The view was amazing. Very quiet and relaxing area. It was so easy to communicate with property manager for reserving and checking in. The place was comfortable, homey, with lots of room. We would definitely rent again. Only improvement would be to have a toaster.

Nice Manager.

The che.ck in process was great. The mobile home had been cleaned and it was well supplied. The location was excellent. Those are the pros. We did encounter some tv, water and sewer problems. Dana did send people to work on them and eventually we had to leave because of a major sewer failure. No fault of the owner and we did manage to find a wonderful place to spend the rest of our Florida time. Dana did refund the remaining days of our stay. This would be a wonderful place to stay when the water pressure and sewer problems and a few electrical problems are corrected. If it were my property, I would do some more remodeling especially in the master bath.
