"Very spacious, nice and clean property. We were a family group of 13 with 7 children and it was quite comfortable for us. We used 4 spacious bedrooms and there was a large loft as well with 10 single mattresses which we didn't use. You have to drive 12km up in the mountains on a very well maintained bandy road with beautiful views and through few tunnels. "Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!"

"The house was a bit small for a group of 7. I can't imagine 9 people. The WiFi password would not work and it seemed the LAN cable for connecting to the internet was missing. We had to use our mobile data the whole stay. Other than that, it was fine and did the trick to house our group for 2 nights."

"Tivemos um pequeno problema no check in pois nos colocaram em um quarto que haveria a necessidade de troca durante o periodo da estadia sem oferecer uma opção de contorno o que nos deixou bem insatisfeitos. Porem, a situação foi muito bem resolvida no dia seguinte pelo gerente José o que fica os nossos parabens pelos seus serviços de excelencia, assim como os funcionários Alice e Axel. A Alice é o máximo no cafe da manhã e o Axel no jantar. Aliás, o restaurante do hotel tem uma comida divina."
