"Cabin was tastefully decorated and right up on the pond with some fun watercraft included with our stay. Even with the weather in the low 70s, the pond was lovely for a few swims. Theresa and Chris were friendly and warmly accommodating to a couple of our extra needs. My family is rather picky and we were all talking about returning for more than a couple days next time! "This is a pretty special property. The views are incredible, the home is cozy and well-maintained, and the property is located just 5 minutes from downtown Tupper Lake and 25 minutes to Saranac Lake (we spent time in both)! I fished both full days we were there. I launched from the property with my fishing kayak one day. My wife used one of the provided kayaks one day. The second day I launched about 1.25 miles up the road at a DEC boat launch. We had a great time and I highly recommend."

It would have been helpful to have some written instructions for operation of some of the equipment in the house (ceiling lights/fans, pellet stove, dishwasher). "This place was very clean, comfy beds, nice linens. For a rustic cabin, the interior was very updated with great appliances and all needed kitchen essentials. Ice maker was not working or not hooked up, as such would suggest adding a couple ice cube trays. Multiple heating sources which were great.
